United States and Israel attack Iran Early Saturday Morning

In my opinion it's the other way round. The fact that Iran has sleeper cells, means that this country is the aggressor. The people in U.S. and Europe did nothing against Iran, but if it's heinous government is activating sleeper cells now to harm citizens in the U.S. and Europe, it should be put down to it's final rest.

Do you have a credible link to confirm this wasn't being used for the military? Because Article 54 (Protocol 1 addition) of the Geneva Conventions states that there are some exceptions. Please note that I am NOT saying this is the case because this is the first I've heard this report, but there are exceptions and everything isn't always cut and dried.

Article 54: Protection of Objects Indispensable to the Survival of the Civilian Population​

  1. Starvation of civilians as a method of warfare is prohibited
  2. It is prohibited to attack, destroy, remove or render useless objects indispensable to the survival of the civilian population, such as foodstuffs, agricultural areas for the production of foodstuffs, crops, livestock, drinking water installations and supplies and irrigation works, for the specific purpose of denying them for their sustenance value to the civilian population or to the adverse Party, whatever the motive, whether in order to starve out civilians, to cause them to move away, or for any other motive.
  3. The prohibitions in paragraph 2 shall not apply to such of the objects covered by it as are used by an adverse Party:
    1. as sustenance solely for the members of its armed forces; or
    2. if not as sustenance, then in direct support of military action, provided, however, that in no event shall actions against these objects be taken which may be expected to leave the civilian population with such inadequate food or water as to cause its starvation or force its movement.
 
Found my own answer. The desalination plant was on Qeshm Island. This is why I don't take anything at face value. Much is propaganda.

"Qeshm Island, located in the Strait of Hormuz, hosts a strategic Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) naval base on its south-central shore, between Shib Derazto and Messen. This facility is designed to project Iranian naval power into the vital waterway, featuring underground shelters for speedboats and submarines."
 
The problem is that we now can't believe anything we see on videos. Even with harmless topics as "pets choose their owners" there are so many AI fakes on YouTube, that we don't know the truth. War always was propaganda. Even before and during the 1st WW there was propaganda and blatant lies on all sides.

My moral compass is: "Do I like that Iranian women are oppressed"? No, I don't want it. If only one woman doesn't want to wear the hijab or a scarf and is forced to wear it, I'll always be against the government. I don't have problems with women who really wear such items voluntarily. But if coercion is used by the regime or the family or the husband , I say no!

I thought that you would not like to discuss this with me anymore. No, I don't think that they might blow up an elementary school with girls. But you should know that girls and women count nothing to these men. Why are you using exactly this kind of propaganda? Iran says it was the U.S. that hit the school, the U.S. say that it was a missile of the Iran that exploded. Do you know the truth?

The sleepers cells would still be inactivated if we had not attacked them and started a war. We were negotiating with Iran, but obviously not in good faith. Israel wanted a war and we decided to help them.

We have also been hiding the amount of American lives lost and the many other hundreds of Americans that have been wounded. Life‘s ruined and people dead that didn’t need to be.

I found something similar on one source also, and it said the plant provides water for 30 villages as well.

That the beauty of fighting a war from a computer terminal hundreds of miles away. You get to stay safe and if you accidently whack a bunch of innocent kids you can just say "oops!"

Now a soldier on the ground can't get away with that. If he goes into an elementary school and lights up a bunch of kids he's got some splainin to do.

The school was located on the same block as buildings used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. Satellite imagery shows the building was originally part of the IRGC naval base until it was partitioned off and fenced between 2013 and 2016.

Cause of Error: U.S. Central Command reportedly used targeting coordinates from the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) that did not reflect this change, leading planners to believe the structure was still a military asset (such as an arms depot or factory).

Kind of reminds me of the My Lai massacre on March 16, 1968 when 173 children and 53 infants were murdered.
