I think classic cars shouldn't be messed with such as the over decorated designs painted on Lennon's Rolls Royce and Janice Joplin's Porsche. @Ken N Tx @squatting dogFinally found the John Lennon Rolls Royce that I took a photo of in Malaga Transport Museum in Spain....

There you are Paco! I see you...talking about your new profile pic, not the front of the car.
LOL. That is an AI generated pic I made with a photo. I chose the groovy one out of these...There you are Paco! I see you...talking about your new profile pic, not the front of the car.![]()
I'd like to see these. My last boss was big into cars, he had a 55 chvey bellaire that he drove in certain parades. he had, I think it was a chevy chevel classic hot rod, a convertible. He bought a very well known corvette at the an auto auction in Scotsdale AZ. The car has a name and was also shown at the corvetter museum for six months.
He was very involved with the Catholic Church and handled the auction for them of a classic car. I think it was some kind of Studebaker from the thirties. The owner left it to the church as a donation. I did get to see it and it was the most beautiful thing. To see a car with that kind of pearl paint/finish was breathtaking.
The interior was just as beautiful and I think it was orginal.
I like the one in the lower picture. I'd have a ball in that one. Here a couple more unusual cars I have photographed over the years. The first was at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg museum in Auburn Indiana. The second was taken at least 20 years ago at a museum somewhere in Denmark.

Thank you SD! You know your cars.

I like it. The siren is mounted on the fender. I remember seeing those type of cars in a museum we have near me. I think police cars started getting two-way radios in their cars in about 1929. Not sure.We saw this car when driving here in Idaho last week. We both thought it was so cool!
That is one sharp ride!I enjoy looking at cars that have been modified either mechanically or in redesign. The cars shown prior to these 2 pictures below are mostly considered as "novelty" cars. I think the people that built those cars have a lot of engineering experience. I give them credit for being able to redesign cars that are so unusual.
Here are 2 pictures of a 2024 Corvette, Z06m Series C8. It has 670 horsepower. it also has a 10-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It is not your typical street car. I drove one of these cars that was at my local Chevrolet dealership. Price tag on this little beauty is over $120,000. Each dealership gets only 1 of these cars.
I don't like the paint color, but I wouldn't pass it up if it was offered to me for free or maybe even half price. I have a bad back, so getting in and out is a bit of a chore, but I can get by the pain just to sit in it.
