Unusual Cars. Have You Photographed Or Seen Any?

My last boss was big into cars, he had a 55 chvey bellaire that he drove in certain parades. he had, I think it was a chevy chevel classic hot rod, a convertible. He bought a very well known corvette at the an auto auction in Scotsdale AZ. The car has a name and was also shown at the corvetter museum for six months.

He was very involved with the Catholic Church and handled the auction for them of a classic car. I think it was some kind of Studebaker from the thirties. The owner left it to the church as a donation. I did get to see it and it was the most beautiful thing. To see a car with that kind of pearl paint/finish was breathtaking.
The interior was just as beautiful and I think it was orginal.

My first reaction was to joke that the steering wheel is on the wrong side, but:

Seeing Peppermint Patty's shoe version, my Mrs. would want one, Definitely too tall for the garage.

Nowadays it's unusual for a car to be anything but an homogenised, aerodynamic, curved shape, to reduce drag and save fuel. Our car is unusual in that it goes against all that, and I do so love it that my lady dresses the part.

You could always build a taller garage. Lol 😆
Is the burgundy red car yours? It’s gorgeous.

It is indeed, it's a 76 year-old MG, known as a Y-Type model.

Thanks Holly, I called my lady to come and see your compliment.
Her response was: "Aw shucks." I guess that means thank you.

I took a ton of photos at the Transport Museum in Malaga a few years back... one of which was John Lennon's yellow Rolls Royce. I cannot find those photos anywhere. I have a feeling they might have been on the External HD that bit the dust... :(
