Unwanted gift for aution Ebay

That's another truth is stranger than fiction for sure. I was thinking of putting my Halston gift set on there, but it's hard to compete with a lump of coal if you're in the mood for shopping on E-Bay!

Then I haven't lived, Phil, never have done either. I was only kidding about the Halston set, but I am returning it.:)

So to return it, let's see ... you have to drive into town? Stand in the long return line? Deal with the 16-year-old gum-snapping clerk? Get pushed around by the crowds? Participate in a flash-mob mall trashing? Stumble home 8 hours later, sore and bruised and tired?

SO much easier to click-click-click, and watch as the suc - um, customers bid on your treasure! ;)

It was bought at Walgreens (says so on the box, thank goodness, so I know where to take it.) It's across the street from my groc and will take no time. There's never anyone in there and I don't know how it stays open...far less trouble to me than dealing with Ebay if you've never dealt with them before. Different strokes for different folks, huh?

Darn - and here I was getting all excited ... :(:playful:

Good for you Phantom.. I`ll have to look out for a fridge but I think you have to pick them up yourself don`t you?
might be easier to save and buy a new one as might be getting someone else`s troubles too. and I couldn`t take that .. but I like ebay for computer parts and phones etc they are excellent..

I have sold a few things.. and one of the items was I had some books I bought by Maeve Bincy and had 10 of them so sold them in bundles of 5 and they went off like hotcakes.. must be a few people who like her books.. I have a whole collection of Agatha Christie books all her books paperbacks so will sell them one of these days its good fun... and also when our son passed away he had oodles of watches, he had a fascination for watches so used to buy a new one when he fancied one.. he had a problem and couldn`t stop buying them so of course my husband inherited 25 citizen watches which I have sold a few on ebay.. not got what they were worth but at least they weren`t hanging around in the drawer..I just love ebay and paypal.. night all time for bed now its nearly 1 am .. enjoy your day ..
