Vanity Rules...or not

I prefer to think that the mirror is looking at me.

I try my very best NOT to look in a mirror.. unless I'm putting on my make-up and or checking myself before leaving the house..otherwise I really, never voluntarily look in a mirror . I've been like this all my life.

One of my sisters is the exact opposite of me, she would have a mirror attached to her so she could see herself all day if she could

Hmm. I brush my hair and scrunch it a bit in the mornings before work or before i dress on the weekends, and I definitely look then. Also I stand in front of the mirror to brush my teeth morning and night, so there's that. I mean I guess I look, though I'm not intentional about it.

When I get up and go pee, I always look then. I don't know what I do when I sleep, but sometimes my hair is SO wild when I get up that I laugh out loud at myself, so I always check. If it's really bad I'll smooth it with my hands or run a brush through it just enough so that I don't scare Ron! :ROFLMAO:

Don't pay any attention to mirror until I get nakid for a shower, then I sneak by the large mirror in the bathroom to avoid looking at the flabby, flaccid, floppy thing hanging around my belly. Who put it there, certainly not me!

I have been sinned against, who would do this to me?

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cause I get better looking each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord It's hard to be humble,
But I'm doing the best that I can

Mac Davis..
Love that song!😆👍 Heard in Canada in 1980 on holiday in London Ontario and bought his vinyl.

Yep I glance in my mirrors at home and anywhere there is a mirror and even in shop windows in passing😩😅
My Mum used to say to me as a teenager One of these days "Old Nick will stare back at you!" 😈😨 My eldest Son is in his early 50's and just like his old Mum and prinks in mirrors checking himself out😎 a good looking son if a gun just like his Dad and his Brother.

I got used to looking in the mirror in the military. Mirrors were posted on the wall beside each outside door, to check your appearance
before falling into formation. The unasked question was,'Do you look like a soldier? All buttons buttoned? Your headgear in proper place? You're in uniform, look sharp. The mirror gave a last opportunity to check your appearance. You also represented whatever branch of the
military you were in. It became a life long habit with me.
