Also they said the gun was from a relative. Immediate family? Where are biological parents? Lack of strong father figures seems to be a factor with younger criminals. Not sure here.
Weren't Finland's people named the happiest people in the world? It's sad that so many shootings are occurring. I have to admit, that with the exception of terrorist attacks., hearing about shootings in places outside the U.S. surprises me. The article states that since he's under age 15, he can't be "formally arrested" but "will be handed over to child welfare authorities". If he's not going to be held accountable, how likely is it that at some point, he'll do it again?!Yes. It's a shame whenever these incidents happen. Finland has had an enviable international reputation... educational system & results near the top among nations, a pretty comprehensive social safety net, universal health care. And from what I know, they have a lot of ethnic homogeneity.
