And building military arms and equipment will employ hundreds of thousands of workers. Plus, they and the military industrial complex owners pay taxes and their investors, and their investors pay taxes. Whether they all pay fairly is irrelevant, they all pay taxes.

President Zelenskyy is an intelligent, patriotic and determined leader who is fighting for his country and the lives of the Ukrainian people. Putin's senseless slaughter of the Ukrainian people has been one of selfish greed.

President Zelenskyy was meeting with our President and addressing our Congress because he is fighting for his country and wants to make it clear that Freedom and Democracy of the Free World will be lost if Putin is allowed to steal land and murder innocent people.

I am fully in support of Ukraine during this deadly attack, and I'm glad we are joining other countries in assisting them. Any intelligent person who values Freedom and Democracy throughout the Free World would support what we are doing to help. Anyone who thinks Putin will stop after destroying Ukraine and committing genocide in that country is a fool.

Also, people cry about our border where refugees from other countries are coming to seek amnesty and flee violence, etc.

Russia is actively attacking and invading Ukraine and its people with heavy weapons that are destroying property, infrastructure and taking innocent lives every day.

Would only be a fair comparison if Mexico was launching missiles and committing mass murder on our soil. That is not happening, and Mexico is not threatening our Freedom and Democracy here in the United States of America. The only ones threatening our Freedom and Democracy are our own homegrown terrorists.

He stopped in Poland on his way home from the US. He has pleaded, and received, help from the free world. I completely support him, perhaps out of guilt for not assisting other countries in past decades. But I support him, and have no problem with our country's support for him.
 
I see Fox News (who seem to be pro- Putin/Russia), was criticizing Zelenskyy for what he was wearing. After the Russian invasion of his country, and he asked the world to help his country, some of them called him pathetic.

As many have criticized him for wearing the green shirt and pants even when addressing Congress, there is a reason.
He stands united with Ukraine military, and wears this on the front lines, in his headquarters, everywhere. Why should he wear a suit as a formality, out of respect for us? We should respect him for his honorable intentions, that green is his uniform of loyalty to country.

I fully respect that decision.

I fully respect him and his decisions. Some people on TV shows love to throw around insults like children, while kneeling before the murderous dictator, not that's pathetic and anti-American I may add.

Russia and China are the two principal World enemies of the US. Russia is clearly interested in restoring the old Soviet Union. An easy victory in Ukraine would just be the beginning, and could easily involve NATO. China would love to occupy Taiwan, a leading supplier of some of the finest computer chips in the world. Our weakness in Ukraine would be a green light for China. So do we weasel out on our promise to defend Taiwan and ignore the very likely plight of our NATO allies if we turn Ukraine over to Russia?
 
I'm not buying into any of this and I haven't from the start. This is all a political game to impoverish nations and their citizens even further in a globalist power grab of our property and freedoms, what remains of them, and Zelensky is a pawn/co-conspirator in this greater scheme. I feel deeply for everyone suffering from this war and its repercussions.

Russia had already annexed Crimea and like the crocodile in Peter Pan, is now intent on consuming the remainder of Ukraine. He is prepared to destroy Ukraine and its people if he cannot achieve his ambitions. Finland and Norway have seen how dangerous he is and have sought protection under the NATO umbrella.

Has US ceased to be a North Atlantic power? Ukraine would have become a NATO signatory already had not Putin struck a deal with them that included the Ukrainians agreeing not to seek NATO membership. That deal was torn up by Putin, not Zelensky. Putin is a treacherous despot with a plan in his head to become the modern day Czar of All the Russias.
