That's beautiful @PeppermintPattyWe have a nice green lawn thatās mowed twice a week which I love walking barefoot over. Iāve read that walking barefoot is good for your feet. Walking barefoot on a sandy beach is nice also.

Thank you TrishThat's beautiful @PeppermintPatty
Yep, my feet are in bad shape. ( I wore those hard rubber calf high boots only and everywhere for years ) now my feet have all kinds of funky maladies, so I wear good comfortable tennis shoes.I have always had something on my feet. I wear Stegmann clogs in the house & New Balance running shoes everyplace else. I need the support for my back & I now have a heel spur giving me fits.
I'm always barefoot at home, except might wear socks when it's cold.A friend of mine insists that walking barefooted whenever possible has health benefits..
Maybe but, you are our effing mess, so it's fineI stepped on an earring, it's post part, it's hook that goes through went straight up my foot, over 1/2 inch of spikey metal. I felt it, but didn't feel it. Pulled it out of my foot, and there was no blood. This was during my winter surgeries on left leg when the nerves in my feet felt like fire with every step. Even though the procedures cured my leg, my feet are very numb. I can feel pressure but that's about it.
I'm diabetic, with neuropathy, so I'm supposed to wear shoes in the house, but I can't for too many hours so at home I'm usually barefoot though I shouldn't be.
On the anniversary of losing my husband, I lit a candle and it exploded! I stepped on a jagged piece of hot hot glass and barely felt it at all. Luckily, it didn't cut me, as I'm on blood thinners for my leg problem.
I'm an effing mess!![]()
Same here, my Peripheral Neuropathy makes being barefoot not fun.I've got nothing against it, but the only times I'm barefoot are while I'm sleeping, showering, orswimming.
