Wandering around for new place

Well, something is definitely wrong. I just went to Ken's FB page to send a message, via messenger, and it stated that Ken cannot access that yet.

He had said a couple of months ago, when the forum was offline the last time, that for some reason his WiFi was not working and someone had hacked into his facebook account. He said they wanted him to use a What’s App account to put it back online for him, and he did not have that app, and had no intention of getting it. Most likely, this is why his facebook page and messenger account no longer are working.
He had let us know that his phone number is listed on the forum website, but since the servers are not working, the contact part can’t be accessed now either.

You can use the Wayback Machine Wayback Machine to access the site from an earlier date this month. You can't post on it but you can access the website and click on links on the forum and such .

I tried contacting Ken as well on FB as Happy flower lady knows. We all are getting quite concerned. I do know he was supposed to be moving, but, as I understood it, not too far away from where they lived now. I hardly ever went there as so many of the old timers were gone for one reason or another. I did keep in contact with one person via pm who used to be here, but left to only stay over there. I am sure I have her personal e-mail, but never took it off the message she sent it on. Now I cannot get back there, and neither can anyone else.

Okay I am going to bite the bullet here and probably be banned from Kens forum if it ever does come up.
Back in Oct. he disappeared and the forum was down 8 days. He had not answered anyone in mail or on FB site.
Many of us were really worried and myself and Flower Lady along few others began calling hospitals, checking for auto accident.. I mean we could not even get a hold of his wife. Zero. On the 8th day the local police were called to do a wellness check. Both were just fine. Yes their internet was up, they had electricity, everything was just fine -except Ken was depressed. He did thank everyone for their concern, no apology, that I know of.
Even if he had, why could he not have at least contacted one of his helper people and tell them, ..hey the forum is down so am I ? At least we would have not worried so.
The forum is old and outdated. Offers have been made from members to which no real response. The fear is losing 10 years worth of data if upgrade is done. I feel comfortable here- well until I blabbed this out- so if it does not come back up again- to which it will go down again- or even a new one- um, I may visit off and on. Made a few on line friends there after 7.5 years, and we all saw each other thru many good days and bad.
For those who have been on Kens Forum, forgive me if I stepped on toes. But several of us have discussed this over the last few years, am tired of not expressing some of this out loud.

if I click on your avatar it does not bring up conversations . in conversations is there a way to add name? sure it is simple ..I must be missing something

When you click on my name ..you should see a box underneath which says ''start conversation... is it not there ?.. if not it could be because you're still too new..

It appears that the server people are not going to ever fix the servers for things to work right, and it is simply time for us to find a new place to meet. Anyone interested in this, send me a message for more info, or check the soc facebook page. Things are progressing, but it is hard to find all the lost people.
