When my mother was in her 90s she used to ask off the wall questions or give off the wall answers to questions in front of her doctors and we had to tell her to cool it because they thought that she was developing some form of dementia.
 
I would love to see reruns of the Ed Sullivan Show. We have some music DVD's of rock groups and Motown groups that appear on his show. Very cool

Ed was a character but he had a hell of a show. I remember when he announced, "and now for the youngsters in our audience, the beatles!"
 
Its only me my family lives elsewhere. I do remember watching the show Sun nights in the 60's. When I talk to my brother tomorrow afternoon for our weekly phone call,I may ask him that question.He'll probably say 'Who? He's not the TV fan like I am Sue

My cat is very wise; but she does not know who Ed Sullivan was.
