Pro-Hamas billionaires send malicious messages through campus protesters

“Most of the organizations providing the backbone of campus protests against Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip are supporters of the terrorist organization Hamas, and some receive funding, at least indirectly, from left-wing billionaires.

A forthcoming analysis by the Capital Research Center, which analyzes nonprofits, found that the vast majority of groups behind the spate of college campus protests are operating as fronts for Hamas, which is committed to destroying Israel and killing Jews.

“I was shocked when I started putting together the data,” Capital Research Center investigator Ryan Mauro told The Washington Times. “They didn’t put any effort into trying to hide the fact that this is a Hamas-driven thing.”
 

I question the accuracy of the news item. Supposedly, "left wing, liberal billionaires are financing", then supposedly "Hamas billionaires" are doing the financing. This is all is from a "forthcoming analysis" by the Capital Research Center. The Center is a super right wing group, which refutes that climate change nonsense, etc.
In my opinion, this news article is unsubstantiated internet fodder.

Follow the money works for both sides.

I watched a CBC piece yesterday, where they fact checked the rumours about funding and the conclusion was that it's funded by the protestors, their friends and families supports (food, water brought in, family camping stuff) donations from people passing by who agree with them and so on. No big money affiliations to speak of. People who question 'where do all those (identical) tents come from...', Amazon or Walmart where you can buy a tent for less than a $100.

I read this in the 1st. part facts.

For me the only fact is the man was injured. Would have been better to prove the man was a civilian not an injured Hamas terrorist IMO using the media in a twisted way.

The news is getting like scrolling through the 125 channels that some TV subscriptions channels. Just stop anywhere that spins your wheels, and dive in. Then surf to another channel and dive in and get the story that fits your life and mood. It IS being produced as we speak, and the living lie has taken hold. We no more have facts and truth to guide us, just what you want to believe. Then you will be able to find all the sources you need. Coming soon. very soon.
 
Remember Dune "He who controls the Spice controls the world." ? What is the Spice on planet Earth right now? If it is "information" then we are in for one hell of a ride. I ask myself "Who/what controls the information?" Even if the probable answer is large corporations and Governments the grass roots are growing stronger every day. Now that AI has been unleashed, the mountains will crumble, and the valleys will rise.

I have no faith that we're developing a 'truthful speaking species'. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that we're getting worse in our integrity, ethics and truthfulness. Even with the internet providing easily found truth and evidence of lies, people don't even care anymore that they might be found out. They just double down.

Liberal billionaires, Arab billionaires?
I think one of the most powerful engines of the Middle east war is the clash of fundamentalists religions, Judaism and Islam. There are rabid, fundamentalist religious, on both sides, intent on ridding Palestine of the other, by any means. I think we overlook the fact this was is also a war of religions. And religions do not play well with others

Yes I do think religion plays a big part in these conflicts. It is interesting that within each religion there is deep disagreements about it. There is the Sunni and Shiite Muslims who fight each other. There are branches of Judaism that are antithetical to each other. There are 9000 Christian branches. No wonder they can't agree on anything.
