Yes, it seems that Carly Fiorina will be next Repub to join the race. She could attract a lot of the female vote away from the Hill, but is she really a plausible candidate, and would you vote for her?

Hmm, sounds hypocritical to me, but my mother also warned me about that trait in many women, too...
 
You know that I was always an innocecent lad and needed maternal guidance, but can't find much around here...
 
Carly Fiorina is an interesting candidate. I'd much prefer someone new from the business world who is willing to work toward balancing the budget and able to make the hard decisions it takes to do so. I am interested in seeing how she handles herself and her stance on some of the current issues. At the very least it will add some interest to the 2016 race.

I believe you're thinking of "Meg" Whitman, who unsuccessfully ran against Jerry Brown for governor of California in 2010. She spent $144 million of her own money on her campaign, such intensive media blitz- I'm sure that even the most aboriginal groups around the world had heard of her.

Carly Fiorina ran for the Senate in 2010 and lost. She did spend a lot of money in that campaign.
