Watching the election results (NO POLITICAL REPLIES PLEASE)

Just a small word, this is a somewhat political statement, IMO, please do not make political statements on this thread.
Please, what was political about this statement. It was merely a comment about what is being reported in the news, not a personal remark regarding candidates or the like. This is nonsense. Grow up and act like an adult.

I’ve tried and tried to grow up and act like an adult, but now I am in my second childhood. I begin to see that becoming anyone else’s definition or version of what a grown up should be or what I should be is, indeed, silly Nonsense. Plus your remarks are off the subject of the thread as is my answer.

😂

I have to be honest and say that I did not enjoy the little that I watched. Way too much talking about nothing. They kept showing the prior years' stats and how the candidates did in the states and counties in prior years. I couldn't have cared less. Just give me the numbers NOW.

Our Governor here in PA screwed the whole thing by allowing votes to be counted up to three days after the end of the election. That's just asinine. Of course, with all of the other kinky crap that he's done in the last eight years, why shouldn't I have expected him to mess this up?

Can you point to credible, substantiated media reports of this? Also what do you consider lots?
I give up 😂, but what has this question have to do with counting and watching the counting of the vote?

Here's a great USA Today article about the threat of absentee ballot voter fraud in the 2020 election.

I was just listening to people on TV talking about how they went to vote in Nevada and someone had already voted in their place. Nevada has a 30 day resident rule stating before being able to legally vote in their state, you must have been a resident for a minimum of 30 days. Two couples went on TV and stated that they moved into Nevada in the last three weeks and voted and their ballots were accepted.

NO, there isn't any voter fraud. I swear that these TV media idiots truly believe that everyone is stupid.

Clark County, NV announces that the counting will not be finished until Nov. 15. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not watching for that long.

Thread is not about voter fraud, 😂

Sure it is. It's about counting "illegal" ballots. Counting is counting, regardless if there are legal or illegal ballots. This is why they have stopped "counting" the ballots until the courts weigh in.

They have not stopped counting the ballots.

I'm sorry I shouldn't have highjacked your topic, I'm deleting my earlier replies.

I occasionally turn on the news to see the latest numbers and also read the Washington Post or NY Times to see what they're reporting.

This issue was just addressed in a news conference. As for everyone being stupid, well, yes, everyone has a stupid side IMO.

Just leave them. 😂. It’s hopeless. 😍 I’ve highjacked topics, just trying to keep the thread open.

It won't make any difference in my life so no I am not glued to news outlets for the final results to be announced.

One thing for sure, the pollsters should to find another line of work. Almost as aggravating: projections.

I was impressed with the way Florida handled their process, very transparent and fast.

Some states were like a dumpster fire. Hasty and unprepared.

The very title of your thread here Aneeda, "Watching Election Results," (No Political Replies Please), indicates that you expected replies other than a mere, "me too." Thus, folks will talk about counting, etc. This has been the most unusual election ever you must admit and I think it is difficult not to say something about it. I is just plain weird.

It’s very interesting to me to see how the people in the various states have voted.

It’s also interesting to me that no matter who wins approx. half of the people in the country would rather have the other guy represent them.

My hope is that after this is settled we can find some common ground as a nation.
Yes, this election result has come as a big surprise to many, just as the last one did. Whoever finally wins, America is a divided country.

Well, the people in America are like the people in a marriage. For the most part, Americans fight like cats and dogs, then make up like long lost lovers. In any event, the election results will come as a big surprise as it will be a surprise if there are ever results. 😂.

Count faster people, count faster. 🤣🤣🤣
