A young woman's exercise routine turned ugly Wednesday when a passing woman exploded in a racist tirade—and it was all caught on video, KTLA reports. Just a thought about the anger. Remember that sitcom the Jeffersons and the theme song “ Movin on Up” and the line “finally get a piece of the Pie” ? I think some people feel like that Pie is of a finite size, and the more people trying to get a piece, the smaller their piece will be.
That the anger is based in fear that there will be less to go around. No infinitely expandable loaves and fishes.
 

It's possible she was just having a bad day and took out her anger on the nearest victim. Let's try to keep things in perspective and be rational.

I'm not excusing her actions (do be reasonable, dear!). I'm just trying to give a different explanation to her behaviour.

I beg your pardon.. I got 2 stories mixed up..I was just reading one in the papers where a woman spat at an Asian man, and kicked his dog... and I got the 2 mixed up..

Here's the story...

A woman has been arrested for racial assault after shocking footage emerged of her spitting on an Asian dogwalker and kicking his pet in the head.

The distressing clip, which has been circulating on social media, shows the 51-year-old walking towards the man and attempting to spit on his face twice in Hob Moor, Yorkshire at around 8.10pm on Tuesday.

The woman, who continues to taunt her victim as he walks away from her, then kicks his Shiba Inu in the face before she is knocked to the ground by the incensed owner.

During the clip, the woman, who is seen wearing a striped jumper, black trousers and a dark hat, approaches the dogwalker and appears to launch a string of taunts.

That sounds like a deliberate act and there is no excuse for attacking a dog. The incident with the woman jogger sounds as though it was an accidental confrontation. It's perfectly possible that the white woman was already in a bad mood about something unconnected and took it out on the black woman. I'm sure we've all been on the receiving end of someone else's angst, even though we were not responsible.
 
The woman is clearly mentally ill. After watching the Youtube clip, I thought the young woman handled the situation very well; she didn't yell back or escalate it in any way, but amazingly, seemed to be speaking respectfully and calmly to the nut case. She didn't exactly calm her down, but at least it didn't get any worse.

I did object to the use of "Karen" in the Youtube caption. This woman is not a Karen, which usually means an obnoxious, self-entitled person, the type who always wants to "see the manager." This was WAY beyond Karenhood!
 
One thing I've learned in 74 years is that a jackass is a jackass. You can use all the psycho-social agendas to explain away a jack ass, but a jackass wants to be a jackass, and a jackass is going to do what a jackass does. You either ignore a jack ass ,or call the police.
 
Wow - "Kicking someone's dog in the head?"
Sooner or later, she will kick the wrong person's dog & there won't be anything left to arrest.
 
Reminded me of an incident 35 years ago when I was married. My ex wife & I had different ways of handling such situations. She would get angry & start yelling. I stay calm (as long as the other person kept it verbal & not physical).

So, it was a hot summer day & we're driving around a crowded parking lot for 10 minutes looking for a place to park. It was a very popular store & always packed on weekends.
I saw a couple getting in their car to leave, so I'm waiting for the space. They back out & I start to pull in & a big van speeds into the space from the opposite (wrong) direction, almost hitting me.
My wife immediately starts yelling at the guy & I quickly roll up the passenger window & tell her to shut up. He heard part of what she yelled at him & he yells, "You're fulla s--t ya f---ing a--hole." He also had a wild-eyed look - sorta like a druggie.
I said, "You must be an English Professor," & drove off.

My wife said, "I'm surprised you let him get away with that."
I said, "He's insane; why get into a fight with a nut over a parking space? Besides, what if he had a gun in his van? Who's the loser, then?"
 
The older woman obviously an exercise nut. She was dressed to exercize and was doing great by walking up those steps then back down. Whew! that had to be exhausting. Then to encounter a woman that obviously didn't understand that moving back & forth is NOT an approved exercise for the park.

Surprised and quiet the woman in black needed a vocabulary lesson. When to insert the F word in a sentence is crucial to knowing how to get the trainee's attention.

Once the trainee is paying attention it's time to show how impress by defining dress code & adding threats

Is it possible the older woman is looking for an educator of the year award?

I do not thing having a bad day in any way explains or justifies that woman's diatribe against the Asian woman. All that racist crap doesn't come out of your mouth just because you're having a bad day. It just doesn't.

Not making excuses, as I already said.
 
If we all went back to here we came from there would be hardly anyone left because killed most of the native Americans.
