Nice, for a minute I thought the man in the pic was Frank Sinatra. Or is it. :D

That's a hoot! Believe it or not, I heard that a lot back then.

I apologize to all for the size and double picture post. My first attempt at this.

There's a glitch in the system with posting of pictures, you're not the only one having this issue with the double picture postings.

And I honestly wasn't sure if that was Frank of not, I had to really stare at the pic hard. LOL.

Well, I have to agree there is definitely a resemblance to a young FS..., a beautiful picture of you both.. :) Interesting to know if you resembled Frank as you got older..;)

I detested dressing up as a kid and still do. I had no interest in my actual wedding day when I was 19, and left all the arrangements to my mother with the proviso that my wedding dress was simple with no frills or flounces! I rarely wear a dress or skirt these days, preferring T shirts and trousers. The last time I dressed up was in 2005 for my father's funeral, as the eldest child I was the chief mourner, which is the way it is where I come from, my mother didn't count, in that respect. My father had been a senior politician and the equivalent of the Prime Minister, and the Queen's representative attended his funeral so for once I had to look the part. Even my mother thought I looked good and that was high praise coming from her!:D

The pictures make me think of the following song that I played on Sunday for an elderly bunch of people at a nursing home. They loved it and we were given a lot of compliments. I hope that they could all hear. My best friend played the guitar, another friend played the piano and I played the harmonica.

Willie Nelson wrote it, but I am a fan of "The Possum."
