Weeds on the nature strip? Plant wheat.

I liked that article Warri. Now they have something substantial to work with. Maybe they can grow some marijuana eventually. Then they will have other kinds of thieves besides birds to worry about...lol..I'm just kidding around. I get silly when I'm up too late...lol :)

Great idea! Maybe some flowers next for the coming street wedding...

Reminds me of Lady Bird Johnson!

I would be worried about toxic lead or pollutant levels for food grown along a heavily traveled road.

I have never seen a little pint sized combine like the one in the video, thanks!

That wouldn't work out in the country here. Too much trash, glass bottles, aluminum cans, thrown out alongside the road. I think it's a protest against government regulations. Ha!

Wheat and I do not get along, either in food, cosmetics or skin care products. Not sure how I would react if it was planted in close proximity to my house.

Such a terrific idea--planting wheat on the nature strip!
Why must every one here in Melbourne have bits of lawn covering every spare space, when one could be growing carrots, zucchini, cabbages, even flowers.
(Neighbor in back encircled his entire front lawn with tomato plants last year!!)
