Call me clueless, I know about cloud storage but in the abstract way, meaning I don't know crap LOL!I have several 1TB SATA 3 SSD's just sitting around gathering dust. I back everything up to the cloud now, MS One Drive
I recently bought that same USB drive (256 GB). It IS tiny and seems to be very fast. I was a little disappointed that it didn't come with any sort of cover or case to protect the end that goes into the computer when not in use. I might look for something. In terms of storage, little thumb drives with lots of storage space are useful in terms of the ability to carry them around and plug them into a computer — storage space does not only mean a computer's hard drive.
This is a thumb drive.
ADDED: It's approximately two(?) inches long and less than half an inch wide, and it plugs into a computer's USB port:

With the thumb drives we have, the end retracts into the plastic case.I recently bought that same USB drive (256 GB). It IS tiny and seems to be very fast.
