Went to a MAC from a PC

I started learning computers on a MAC in the mid-80s but ended up going full in on PCs. I think the MAC was easier back then with the icons and stuff. Today, many designers like using a MAC. I spend a lot of time doing graphic designing and honing my skills but I haven't wanted to switch to a MAC. Good luck to you on your new journey!

I have 10+ year old PC, that will probably go extinct when Win 11 becomes standard. My next computer will definitely be a MAC. I have a crummy Microsoft tablet for emergencies. Whenever it gets an upgrade, it's always what else won't work now. My phone is an iPhone. I love it so much, it's in my will.

My laptop has a short in the on/off switch that makes using it a real challenge.

I’m thinking about skipping a new computer in favor of a Chromebook or MacBook as a backup in case my iPhone becomes lost or damaged.

My iPhone has become my go to for shopping, banking, etc… and I rarely use the computer.

I converted to MAC about 10 years ago. The hardest part of the learning curve for me was learning Apple's version of EXCEL which is called PAGES. Once I got the hang of PAGES, I was hooked. Love the fact that my iPhone and MAC are completely synced.

We're an all MAC houshold here. 2 x iPhones (12 & 14), Ipad, 2 x iMac (and a spare in the attic) - work was a big Mac Pro and an iMac.

I love the synchronization too.

I enjoy following the stock market and I've had them both running this morning.
It's almost been sensory overload, they both present information in a different way.
It's been a ton of fun.

Money well spent.

My old laptop was getting tired and acting up,
so I bought a used MAC.
I figured I've got an iPad mini and an iPhone, it made sense.

So far, so good, but it sure is different.
I learned on Macs. Love them. Just got my new one to do taxes on last Thrs.

Love Apple stock even better! Bought it back in 1980s wishing I'd bought even more...
