I watch the ‘Walter Presents’ shows on PBS Passport. Really some good series. I’m currently watching The Seaside Hotel.
So glad you are still loving Orville. No need to apologize for asking a question. I've been on SF for almost 7 years (can't believe it) and ever since I can remember I've been using the @ sign in front of the names of people I want to tag when I am not replying directly to one of their posts. When you don't use @...I don't think people will know you tagged them in your posts. Using @ is also sometimes necessary for tagging on Facebook although it seems sometimes it isn't. But FB has gotten so crazy.Off subject with apologies: Since when did this forum start using the @ symbol when addressing someone by name? I saw it on Twitter but never anywhere else. And there it was used to lead to a subject, wasn't it? (Not a Twitter user)
Thanks for the very informative answer. I will be using the @ from now on. No harm in doing so, just wanted to know! Sorry to keep you waiting but this is the first day I feel fine again after surgery and following complications! And I just finished season 3 of "The Orville" with great regret. Can't wait for season four!!!So glad you are still loving Orville. No need to apologize for asking a question. Also, when you use the @ sign first, the person's name pops up in a "box" that you click on to create names that are in blue. That also creates a direct link to the person's profile. I hope I explained it adequately!![]()
I watched that one with my granddaughter. Didn't know it was renewed. I'll check it out!Looking forward to Sweet Tooth on Netflix.
I'm sorry you experienced complications after your surgery Old Salt but glad you feel well enough to be back on the forum. Wow..you really did binge watch huh! Guess you had plenty of time after your surgery. I think whether or not there will be a S4 is still up in the air but the last articles I read about it were more hopeful. One of the considerations is how huge the budget is. I guess you could tell, especially during S3. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Thanks for the very informative answer. I haven't watched live T.V. since 2018 when I canceled cable. I'm getting so much more for so much less! I don't get paying so much for streaming "live T.V." either, because those touting live T.V. do charge much more than Hulu, Netflix and the other services. I wouldn't pay again to watch all those ads. An hour show has 20 minutes of ads; half hour 9 - 10 minutes.Don't watch live TV, just Amazon/Netflix kinds of things. Most of the shows I watch have long ago ended or been canceled.
Still missing Breaking Bad, but the new shows Better Call Saul (now done too) and Your Honor are helping...
thats all i watch on channel 4......Seaside Hotel, is Brilliant , I ll say no More LOLI watch the ‘Walter Presents’ shows on PBS Passport. Really some good series. I’m currently watching The Seaside Hotel.
The budget must be huge! The special effects have come a long way since the first Star Trek! There's also a huge cast. For a TV produced show "The Orville" is in a league of its own! I must try Disney's Mandalorian again. I watched three episodes but couldn't warm up to the show because the main character never showed his face.I'm sorry you experienced complications after your surgery Old Salt but glad you feel well enough to be back on the forum. Seth McFarlane said he wanted The Orville to be a cut above the rest when it came to special effects and he succeeded. Here's a bit of trivia for you. In 2019 Adrianne Palicki (Kelly) and Scott Grimes (Gordon) got married in real life. Adrianne filed divorce papers after only two months, then dismissed. She filed again in 2020.The budget must be huge! The special effects have come a long way since the first Star Trek! There's also a huge cast. Great showVan Der Valk , series three.love it, so well written!!
Unfortunately for fans its show BUSINESS not show FRIENDS its all about moneyAnd talking about cancellations. They cancelled "Time Traveler's Wife" halfway through a season without a satifying ending! Because not enough people were watching! Ever since, I never watch a streaming show until it has had at least two seasons under its belt. One season shows are now OUT! For good!
Yes and she stars as Judge Stone and is one of the executive producers. Is that the new Night Court with Melissa Rauch?
Yes!Van Der Valk , series three.love it, so well written!!
I noticed a couple of shows missing from that list too. I can exhale now. One I was concerned about..Will Trent has been renewed! Can't see the Winchesters on the list.
Annoyed ST Discovery is going, knew Picard was only getting three series but this final series is brilliant.
Still annoyed at the BBC for cancelling Holby City but I can't think of any instance of a channel having two entirely different shows in the same hospital.
But Casualty keeps going and just had another cast cull...somehow Charlie Fairhead still survives!
Been in it since episode one!
