What Are Seniors Thankful for?

Serious…. Ppl with whom I’ve worked that have encouraged me and built me up while all the while challenging me to keep reaching for new accomplishments

Laughing with and enjoying talking with my grown children

$2.50 bus/train/ferry rides. Senior discounts in clubs for meals. When I'm visiting someone in hospital, I can get my parking ticket validated and it only costs 6.50 for as long as I like, otherwise I'd have to pay per hour. 3 hours parking free in shopping centres and when I show my seniors card, I get an extra hour free. We are so lucky here and so many people do nothing but Winge.

I'm happy that I'm not stuck in an office all day any more.

I've never been comfortable around people, so being stuck in close quarters with others without the benefit of alcohol or drugs was pure hell. So that's the number one thing I appreciate about being old. Now I can choose who I associate with and when, or I can choose not to socialize at all, which is the option I normally choose.
