Ha! I went to school with a kid whose last name was Betterborn. His first name was Butch. Not very odd or funny but I always thought the 2 names sounded cool together.

I named my daughter Maud, for the gorgeous silent film actress named Maud Fealy. Plus I just like the name. Sadly, Maud doesn't, so she goes by her middle name.

I know of someone whose last name is Hogg. I wonder if his ancestors were farmers. As an adult, he's a pretty big fellow but when in elementary school I wonder if kids picked on him by snorting.

Went to school with a kid named Spencer Joe, Joe really was his last name.
He probably needed to get it changed to Joe Spencer, or something else.
