The song is suppoedly sung by the ghost of a
soldier killed in a war in the middle of the 19th
century.

Mike.

We have a town here in our small county by the name Loch Lomond. Used to have dinner there all the time until the restaurant closed. It`s a really charming small town. In the 40s,50s and 60s there was an amazing resort there that drew huge crowds of vacationers.

I have already admitted that I was infatuated with making money while I was growing up. I was also a cheap skate, but only allowed those closest to me to call me Mr. Cheap Skate. In high school, I dated the same girl 4 or 5 times. Then, one Sunday night, she called me and said that she didn't know how to tell me what she wanted to, but this song says it all. After I played it, I was really confused. I didn't even know that she considered us as a couple, so I called her back and asked her if we could still be friends? She asked me if I wasn't mad. I told her no, why should I be?
