What are you cooking or baking today?

An aunt gave me a container of store-bought tomatoes she had purchased, but didn't like how they tasted - or more in line with what she said - they didn't have ANY flavor. I thought they might not be fully ripe, so I left them out for almost a week. They were still very hard and she was correct, not much flavor. I chopped up a couple and seasoned them with spices, cheese and put a breadcrumb topping on it. All I can say was that it was edible. It looks more like a cherry dessert in the photo.

I've been lazy cooking myself. We just had the house resealed with wood preservative & we were it ready outside for our painter. I did make a pot roast a couple of days ago & used the leftovers in quesadillas. Not sure what I'll do today, but still not in a mood to cook. Weather isn't conducive to it.

Looking for a dish to cook for dinner. My protein is sweet Italian turkey sausage.

I'm going to try a yogurt and cheesecake flavor Jello pudding recipe. A quart of plain Greek yogurt and a box of cheesecake pudding mix. 3/4 cup serving with a Graham cracker crushed on top and if desired blueberries. We'll see.
I was going to go for the sugar free pudding bit the regular is bad enough.
@Nathan , you might want to try for protein. 16 grams

I've been seeing these recipes floating around...I'm saving them on my FB page for future indulgences. 🙂
They seem so much easier than making regular cheesecake...

today we had Bermans pulled pork with bbq sauce on sesame hard rolls.
this was found at Aldis in the refrigerator section along the pizza, etc. It wasn't frozen but i froze it after i bought it so followed the microwave directions but after 3 min removed it from pkging and finished warming it in a saucepan on the stove.

I added 1 Tbls dark brown sugar and 1 Tbls Baby Rays honey bbq sauce. Hubby really liked it, so did I. Will buy it again. Plenty for 4 buns/rolls.

Cookies. This is almost a miracle. I’m a failure at cookies. I’d meant to buy some nice ones at a bakeshop. Friends were coming over so I made a mix I’d bought for an emergency. Today qualified. Frankly, I think they were awful; much too sweet. Probably a dozen of the two were gone and I sent them home with them.
