Hmmm, we were just traveling so it's in my mind.
I have learned NOT to drag the cooler in and out. I have 3 heavyduty plastic grocery bags with handles. I fill those and carry them back and forth and leave the cooler in the vehicle.
I've also learned to keep a travel pack filled for toiletries and one for basics like salt, pepper, garlic powder, and a small bottle of olive oil. They are ready to go.
I save the small packets of catsup, mustard, mayo, etc. and take them instead of having to take or buy larger containers.
I only bring food that might go bad or that is a lot less expensive to take and that we're sure we'll be having. Otherwise we get groceries there as needed.
We've gotten more streamlined!
