Fabulous Zoom session with therapist. After all these years I accidentally found a great one. I thanked her. She is a woman with a depth of intelligence, wit, understanding.
You're very fortunate to have lucked-out on finding a therapist who is a "good fit" for you. I've never found
one,, but don't need one now.

All the best moving forward!

My living room is partly torn apart so I could dry the carpet. I might as well give the room a thorough vacuuming, and clean all the furniture and exercise equipment. Then put everything back.

That will wear me out plenty, so no exercise, other than my "balcony exercises."

I might tackle the pile of dishes. Continue reading the book club selection.

Talk to language partner this evening, then read in bed.

I am staring to bring up boxes of things from the cellar for the community garage sale. Everytime I start up thestairs, I think either, "Probably will be bringing most of it back down" or "I wish I knew what was going to sell and I'd only have to bring up that." I got most of the center part of the basement, but there's a lot near the furnace. I left a few boxes, too, things I think nobody would want, like candles and candle holders. No one bought them at my other house.

Oh, and I cut my hair. Now I look like a gray-haired Woody Woodpecker.

Heartless! That's what it is. I was puttering around the kitchen this morning trying to decide what to have with my :coffee: and nothing sounded good. I thought "I wish I'd have one of @Georgiagranny 's croissants" and right there you have six of them in my face and I can't take a bite! 🤷‍♀️
Welp...there was so much to catch up on this morning that the 🥐 didn't even get packaged and displayed until almost noon so you wouldn't have had one (or more) with your :coffee: anyway!

I promise to do better tomorrow. 🥐🥐 no later than 7am. That's a promise.

I forgot to tell y'all about the latest in The Saga of (former) New Lady! This is mind-numbing craaaazy. She dropped by when I was off last Thursday crowing about having worked 30+ hours at the other store...a sort of bragplaint, yanno? Sir said that she also insisted on coming back to work in our store, but he told her sorry, "they" won't let him add any hours to the schedule.

Well...she has a way of, um, sort of stretching the truth, if you know what I mean. Seems she told the store manager where she is now that one of our managers told her she's being moved back to our store to work 12/hrs/wk. She named the manager who supposedly told her that. >>insert multiple eye rolls here<<

When contacted, that manager said no, she not only hadn't told (former) New Lady any such thing, she hadn't spoken to her at all about anything, didn't recall ever having any conversation with her and couldn't remember who she was.

One of these days, that woman is going to lie to the wrong person and find herself without any job at all. It could be that "one of these days" has arrived or is right on the horizon. I swear she lies flatter than pee on a plate!

And I understand that the reason she was moved out of the fuel center at our store to the bakery is because she "couldn't count," meaning the cash drawer didn't balance for her shifts. There is no cash kept in any department for any reason. The only cash in the store is at the checkout registers.

Oy!

I dashed out early this morning to get the errands done. This afternoon I started sorting out my wardrobes. How come I have a big sackful of stuff to go and yet, the wardrobe seems no emptier
Because when you turn your back to put something in the sack, the stuff that's left behind multiplies.

JFTR, how many things have you found that you forgot you had? LOL!

Yes! Several things I had forgotten about but, worse of all, a couple of items that I really, really wanted and have still not worn :(
This is my dilemma now. I have so many clothes despite giving full sacks regularly to the charity shops. Now I'm left with loads still but when I go to whittle them down more, I find that they're either the things I wear already and like.. or they haven't been worn and still have their tags on....

Now I bought some packing materials with the intention of selling my clothes online.. I am a long time high rated seller on Ebay ( not of clothing) .. but I hate to sell clothes there, even tho' all my things are new.. there's always someone who will complain and cause a problem.. so I wonder has anyone got any better ideas ?

It's absolutely lashing down here.. it's like a winters day....

That woman is outrageous!

It would be hard to trust her with anything. If she has no qualms about continually lying, she’ll have none about other things she does.

It’s a shame that places are so desperate for workers that they keep someone like her on.

Still cleaning out the shed....OMG the stuff that man kept. Will keep some of the tools for myself, I need a proper hammer rather than the meat mallet I generally use, hey, it's a lot handier than running out to a locked shed in winter.

6 fishing rods, WTF he only had two hands, and I have lost count of how many jars of screws, nuts, bolts, all rusty by the way.

to be continued tomorrow Yikes! my toter garbage bin is so full I had to put some in the neighbors.

@RadishRose Even outrageous doesn't quite cover it!

@Jules You're right about that. I had no trust in her whatsoever and never left her alone in the bakery no matter what else I needed to do. Always waited for Retired Lady or Sir to be there if even if all I needed to do was duck into the ladies' room. If neither of them could be there or were off, I'd give the deli manager a heads up so that she could keep an eye on her.

They are surely aware that hiring her was a mistake, but they don't like to fire anybody and would rather try to find a place where she could actually contribute something.

In any case, it's good that she's gone and is going to stay gone.

I used a site that looks for unclaimed money and now the state of colorado treasury/unclaimed property division is sending me a check for $4.99 that I guess was turned over by a veterinary place where I used to live 13 years ago (I didn't recognize the business name, so not sure whether was the cat/dog place or a horse vet). I saw a lot of entries for my mom's name in a couple different states that we lived in, it is so frustrating that my brother (he was the executor) always tells me it is too late. I had fun searching for other people's names, I saw two of my brother's previous wives have little unclaimed sums as well as my niece, deceased nephew, and my childhood best friend's husband (I sent her a message). Anyway that was my fun for today.

I tend to pass on good stuff to family/friends or donate but, I know someone who has been buying and selling on Vinted and she seems to be happy with it.
