Grandson and girlfriend here today.

He gave my dog a needed bath and made pasta.

I made the worst meatloaf I have ever tasted! Too much Worcestershire sauce. They liked it and took the rest home. We also had baked asparagus, 2 goat cheeses to spread on matzoh, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, cut up watermelon and small eclairs.

Exercise. Tackle the dishes. Meeting this afternoon/evening (right at suppertime!).

Ground beef is on sale, but they were out the other day. I'll stop by the store on my way home.

Oh right, I have to read documents for today's meeting. And read book club book for tomorrow.

I had a nice bad-food binge over the last few weeks. I think I'm back on track now though.
 
It's a lovely sunny day with a nice breeze. Perfect for working in the garden, but after just two hours, I had to give up and rest. I'm off tomorrow, and it's going to be another nice day so I'll try again tomorrow.

It was also a lovely sunny day in the bakery. Newest Hire worked with me today, and it was so nice to not be playing beat the clock again. I even (gasp) had time to run to the ladies' room and take a 15-minute break! Mark your calendars! Gramma took a break on April 17, 2023, and didn't even feel guilty about it.

The best part about working with Newest Hire is that she doesn't have to be led by the hand and can be counted on to actually work while she's there. Ahhhhh. ❤️
