Diva I am getting confused with your one eye pic - not that I dislike but I can see the eye sometimes a a right eye looking directly ahead and sometimes a right eye doing the same thing. I guess I just have to live with that - funny heh but it gives me a different orientation of your face and even implies a different facial image?
 

It's a beautiful sunny morning. I've got to leave in an hour or so for my my hospital appointment to have both knees and one hip X-Rayed.

Fortunately it's a local hospital instead of one several towns away..which is usual..... so I'll be in and out in not time at all..

Gonna pick up some groceries while I'm out and also take a bag full of food to drop off at the food bank...

I might get my hair cut while l'm out, I'll see how I feel... :giggle:

I will be going to bed soon, it is almost four in the morning here. The only thing I can do is hope that I will get back to a normal schedule..

Once I wake up tomorrow, the plan is to do some house cleaning. I just put in an order for groceries to be delivered. Mainly just my sodas and dogfood. I got a few things for the grandson as I will be watching him thursday night.

Just aheads up, I may be gone for a little while. Having computer problems again. I think I have broken off the end of my charger in the computer as if won't let me plug it in to the laptop.

Got a haircut today. This was the third shop I have tried since my old barber retired. I think this guy has potential.

After the trim I decided that I needed a new wisk broom to sweep out the old Dodge. Went to Harbor Freight. First young person had no idea what a wisk broom was. Older lady knew the term but said they hadn't carried them in a long time. Went to a national chain auto parts store and again the young lady had no idea what I was talking about. She went to the store manager and he didn't know the term either.

Returned home with no wisk broom and a feeling of being obsolete in this world......Sigh.

I was just using mine yesterday. I will take better care of it now that I know they are obsolete.
 
Morning all...it is 61deg f OUTSIDE and going to be
around 80 or so, we never got any rain with all the storms
yesterday, they split up and went past me...and we're getting
rather dry here....day of rest for me i THINK, lots of pains, did
the excercises yesterday with two therapist........rash is 90%
gone....yay........ ;)

I had to run an errand for my kids which was a hour each way. Then a friend called in crisis so went to help. Then walked the dogs 2 miles. Trying to decide if I have enough energy for laundry.

Thank you! The whole room was antique themed before the remodel, but I developed an attachment to that bureau for some reason and just couldn't let it go! I thought it added a little warmth to the room too.

p.s. No, I wouldn't have had the energy for laundry if I had done all that you did in one day!
 
I cleared up yesterdays mayhem, we had thunderstorms and my dog jumped into the kitchen cupboard and emptied everything out , shes frighten over thunder .I was exhausted last night just trying to keep her calm .

Today is a much better day , dry and warm , and with no more frost ,Ive planted out some of my bedding plants .
I feel the need to lay down , Living alone as its advantages , but everything that needs doing falls on me .

Yesterday, once the grass dried, which wasn’t till 2 in the afternoon……from rain off and on , the last couple days, heavy dew in the mornings, and a lot of fog…….
I thatched the lawn in the front yard, and mowed.
Today…..recycle bin out to the curb for pick up, several errands to do.

Isn't it ridiculous that Bobby Gee gets to keep the original name, when the other 3 members who are the most popular singers have to have the name changed.. I've worked with Cheryl in the past on various shows... she's just a sweetheart... and the better singer out of them all IMO.. but in truth they are all nice people..
 
Not long home ... it's racing towards 3.30pm... the sun was glorious.. a few white clouds and blue skies. Picked up something from my ex husband that he wanted me to drop in town for him, and I did that after I had my X-Rays done..

Drove to the next town, and did some shopping, and had lunch at the pub.. ( well all day breakfast)... then drove 2 towns further on to return some things.. and just 5 minutes before coming off the slip road on the motorway the heavens opened, and we had the whole 9 yards.. Thunder, lightening, torrential rain... and it's still raining even now. 🌧️⛈️🌧️⛈️☔

Of course I had no coat on.. and just getting the shopping out of the car when I got home, I got drenched just in a matter of about a minute or 2

yes,it is silly,,,cheryl,is near 70 now,its cheryl i have met,du to she worked for x mother inlaw,before her singing career,i was introduced once,down to earth sort of girl,,real name Rita lol.
 
Today I have a client and then will walk the dogs. Glad I did the laundry last night. My tiny dogs are pad trained so have to wash the pads twice a week. It involves spot treating and bleach but I feel good about not using disposables. Living in a condo I no longer have a yard.
 
Walked to the library to pick by up “The Lions of Fifth Avenue”. Don’t remember who recommended it initially (sorry) but I’m looking forward to it.

Warm day but a breeze is blowing. Now relaxing in the yard with a fruit smoothie and getting ready to enjoy this book 📕 🤓

Just got the best news in the world ... my two oldest grandkids are coming for a visit this weekend.
I haven't seen them in 5 years. .. they were last here for my 75th birthday.

The oldest, my GD is almost 32 years old now, and GS is 27 ... they live in Illinois ... and she is bringing her longtime beau to meet the family.
Their parents divorced years ago ... Dad (my son), lives in Houston, and their Mom lives in Wisconsin.
Can't wait to see them again. Party time!
 
Blah, I think there is a meeting at work today at 2. I'll call to be sure it isn't cancelled since that's happened before and I went over to work for nothing. The boss now seems to take it personally if people don't show up for meetings so I'd better go.

Then probably to Trader Joe's and stop at PAWS on the way home.

Talia had a vet appointment yesterday. She gained about 1.5 pounds due to the prednisone. But she's doing OK. Recheck in 5 months.

I didn't know they were still giving boosters.. what number is that ?

Ironically today, I saw boxes of 50 face masks for sale in the shop for £2 per box.. astonishingly the same boxes that were being sold at £25 per box in store, and up to £100 online at the height of the pandemic..

yes I'm in the same boat, Lady.. everything that needs doing, is down to me alone... it's a right royal PITA.. or Pain in my knees and hip as it has been today tbh.. . the torrential rain has stopped, and I've been out and cleaned down the front door and doorstep.. I don't know where the dirt comes from but having a white door and all glass frames, it gets filthy after heavy rain.. so I have to clean it down after every time it rains hard..
