Replenishing my groceries. Used up the holiday food, time to go back to more healthy choices.

Goodness, I have got so much food it's scary. One Tall Larder freezer packed full... one Chest freezer packed full... a fridge freezer packed full, and enough dry goods to feed a platoon if it decided to march through my house!Replenishing my groceries. Well, if the power goes out for a length of time you may have to!Goodness, I have got so much food it's scary. One Tall Larder freezer packed full... one Chest freezer packed full... a fridge freezer packed full, and enough dry goods to feed a platoon if it decided to march through my house!![]()

I am so sorry it sounds like it was a terrible ride. It is a physical problem, right? Maybe listening to soothing music on a mp3 player when you are riding could help relax you during the ride. Getting your mind off the actual ride. The attempted ride home was so horrible I have chest pain & headache from it. They FINALLY had to call an Uber for me. The uber driver was such a lovely person. My Buffy was so upset about being left alone so long she gave me a gift of a lump of poop on the floor. No accident, deliberate. Bad Buffy, Bad!
My chest really hurts. This drama is getting to be too much for me. I barely feel safe outside the home anymore if I'm not with my son. I'm not having a heart attack, I don't think. The experience just weakens me. Being home is synonymous with being safe for me. I have to do better if I want to visit my grandson and I do.
It's not the ride as much as the torture of waiting for them to send someone; then lying about their misinformationI am so sorry it sounds like it was a terrible ride. you live in Malaga?.. wherabouts?... my daughter has a home in the Malaga region, and I know the Malaga region very well..I am currently thinking about my next trip to Spain. I am reading some travel blogs to see which hidden areas of Spain I can visit, as I am currently living in Malaga.
lol...I don't mind cooking ...in fact I enjoy cooking for other people...and I miss that, so come in come all...@Pepper Sorry for the stress! I don't usually get physical symptoms, for me my mood gets...um...cranky? Nasty? Maybe agitated describes it. Whatever it is, it wears me out.
@hollydolly It's time for a party at your house. We'll all come and help you empty the freezers if you'll do the cooking.
I slept until 6. Holy cow! I only woke up because Maggiecat was staring at me.
Nice and warm and calm right now, but the weatherheads say it'll only last until around noon. After that we're supposed to have storms, including maybe even a tornado.
This place is a mess because I've put off cleaning up, thinking I'll deal with it today. Today is here. Guess it'll get cleaned up.
I'm new enough here that I don't know what you're fighting/dealing with, but I wanted to check in this morning to ask if you're feeling better today? Chest pain eased? I *do* understand about home feeling safe and if I wouldn't have to go anywhere at all, I'd choose that option... especially during these bitter cold winter months. @PepperMy chest really hurts. Ditto! Before the pandemic, I didn't mind being out and about at all. Now? I'd like to never again need to venture past my garden!home feeling safe and if I wouldn't have to go anywhere at all, I'd choose that option... especially during these bitter cold winter months. @Pepper
see, Peps... that would upset the heck outta me.. 2 of my most major irritants...Liars..It's not the ride as much as the torture of waiting for them to send someone; then lying about their misinformation
Sorry for being unclear, HD. I meant NHS when I said medical plan. Is acupuncture covered/offered by NHS?Medical Plan ?.. our medical plan is the NHS... I have no private medical inusrance now since O/h cancelled our joint policy when he left.. Can't afford Private medical Insurance on my own..
You're in the Savannah, Georgia area? Hmmm.... for some reason I thought you were in the northwest.I need to buckle down and finish my continuing education so I can get my nursing license renewed. I saw a part-time ad for hospice nurse yesterday and sent the application in before I realized it is at one of the Savannah offices. (I keep the mileage filter on the job searches less than 25 miles, so I don't know how Savannah--90 miles away--sneaked in there. But hey, if it's only one or two days a week, I could "do" Savannah!
Connected with a long-time friend this AM and will have coffee with her at local coffee shop tomorrow for a catch-up chat. =)
Also on the agenda today, making bean soup, grocery shopping and some cleaning.
Y'all have a lover-ly day!
