What are you doing today 2023

I'm sitting here thinking, what I did with today.. and I can't remember.. lol...

I do know I got something fixed in the software of my computer today that's not been working for weeks.. really bafflin' me.. and I'm definitely not techi person.. but finally I cracked the code today and fixed it so I'm happy about that.. very pleased... (y)
 
I am sitting here on the couch, the recliner is in full use. The dogs, one at my side in her blanket, another above my head on the back of the sofa, 3rd, big dog, asleep at my feet. We are having a nice rain storm. The dogs were not happy at first with the thunder but have since embraced the beauty and quiet of the showers. The back door is open, they can look out and see the rain fall, I just enjoy the calm sound of the rain dripping from the roof to the patio and the cool breeze that comes in to cool the house .
 
It's almost 3 pm, and so far I've had brunch and a shower. I'll try to do all my exercises (about 1 hour's worth). Then maybe I can get something else done.

I had some ambitions for the coming days (e.g., making a batch of meatballs), but I see that I have to admit defeat. Okay winter, you win! For now.

Talk to my language partner this evening, then read in bed until I fall asleep.
 
At Tobaggan Steve’s for supper (local college hang out)…. Along with my grilled chicken sandwich and French fries, I asked to see the cocktail list…. No list, the bartender just quizzed me on what liquor I ‘normally’ have. Well, to be honest, I very seldom drink, would just like something light and refreshing…

“how about s€x on the beach?” He asked

Excuse Me?

oh, that’s the name of the drink 😆

noooo… I don’t think so. Lol.

We settled on a “Kit Kat“. no idea what’s in it, but it’s light and fruity. I’ll probably drink less than 1/2

Nope, sorry.
And I lied, I drank more than 1/2, so I can’t even take a pic to show you, haha

I’m going back to the office and commence my ‘glamping’

tell me about it, I did it for many years when I had to be up at 4.30 am for work...

That said our clocks don't go back until the Sun 26th March
