I did my paperwork, as planned.

I wrote to my cohost and told him I was thinking of discontinuing the online trivia game. He said it was up to me, and he was okay with it.

So tonight will be the last trivia game. It served its purpose -- gave me something to do for many months. Now I have more offline things to do.

2 more hours till the game, then bed. Nowadays, all I look forward to all day is just going to bed! This too shall pass?

morning, 39deg F here this morning, 4am too early to be up
but what can I say....sposed to get around 70deg today, then
tomorrow chance increases of severe weather in my area...today
will be waiting on maint man to come start ridding me of under
house critters, as if, but will see what happens....later...:)

Today my plan is to work on putting my music into the two MP3 players I have. I am keeping the old one for myself since I know how to use it and I like it. The last time I put music in it I put a lot of music in it and could not add any more. Now I am only putting my very favorite songs so that when I am out those are the only ones I will have on it. More space this way and don't have to listen to songs that are okay but not favorites.

The other player I am putting Christian hymns on for my friend. That is pretty much the only music she likes. So I will show her how to use it and she can listen to music when putting her puzzles together or her husband is watching sports. This will be good for her I hope.

Other than that........keeping my feet elevated as much as possible.

I'm up and coffeed. That's it so far. Slept until almost 6, which didn't make Maggiecat happy.

DD works at her office job today, then is going to a shelter called GoodMews.org to get a kitty. The one she picked out is an orange one named Nutmeg. It could be that when she gets there Nutmeg won't be the right kitty, but they have lots of kitties. She went out last night to buy all the proper accoutrements.

I hope Nutmeg and Maggie will be friends so that we can continue to keep the door open between my place and theirs.

Today I am mostly thinking about tomorrow which is when I get my six month lymphoma check with my oncologist.
Chemo was first 6 months of 2018 so five years if the blood is still clear . Survival is 2-5 years. Nothing new is bothering me other than the thumb caper. Can't believe It is a year already since I was fighting to get that danged thing attended to.

So if clear you are stuck with me and the pup for another year.
bye for now

Hope big time your results are positive for your check.
Love you being here…..🌻🌻🌻.

Thursday is our Game Day! We started this a month ago & we play a board game & have a snack around noon or so. Helps to keep our mind sharp! ;) First week we played Scrabble (2 games & hubby won both - I had terrible luck in my tiles), 2nd week we played Chinese Checkers (I won one & he won 2 - but only by 1 or 2 moves! :D) and the next 2 weeks we played Yahtzee (3 games each week & he only won 1). Today we might try Rummikub.

@MickaC You’re really a planner.

@StarSong How much pickle juice do you have to drink. I think you or someone said it has to be dill. I’m suggesting this to my husband. He’s not enthusiastic, but I tell him it can’t hurt.
I drink it from a shot glass, so roughly 1-1/2 -- 2 ounces. If it doesn't work, I take another shot within a minute and that always does the trick. Then I bring a shot with me to bed, just in case.

Several years ago, DH & I were camping in the mountains and I got a cramp during the day that was so bad I could barely stand it. No pickles with us. He hopped in the truck and drove to the small store in the nearest town. $6.50 for a 12 oz jar of pickles! It was worth it because the cramp was extreme, but still...

Since then, I try to always bring a small jar of pickles in plenty of juice when we fill the RV fridge, but just in case I forget, there's always a new jar in the pantry for emergency use.

Ug. Yesterday after shopping the rain let up, I was planning to go feed the cats at work. Then the boss calls wondering if I can come in at 6pm and work until 11pm. I said I couldn't since I had an early morning eye appointment. Probably thought I was making it up but the truth is I did have an eye appointment this morning. If I work late, I'll stay up late and I didn't want to be tired for the appointment since I'm having trouble with my left eye.

So then I didn't want to be over there spotted feeding the cats. Though I have found out the boss knows about the cats and is fine with me feeding them.

Now it's raining all day so far and I have not been able to go feed the cats. So they are on day two, no food.
Feral cats are pretty good hunters. Though they doubtless appreciate your generosity and kindness, rest assured they won't starve if you skip a few days. 🤗

Before DH & I closed our warehouse, he fed the feral cats five days a week, so I understand and admire your compassion for these little creature.

Thank you. I absolutely do not want them going after birds. The mice from the gulch, that's fine. I've seen the fluffy orange one with mice. They got fed last night and this morning.

Dio is responding well to his meds, hopefully he will kick this infection clear across the continent! My temp seems to go up every time I try to do something (anything!), so I've spent a lot of time laying around etc.

My WiFi has been on break for a while, so I'm still back reading posts......

Dagnabit!!! My left knee has decided to throw a fit, so
things are not boding well for the day.....:cautious:
well I'm joining you here because my right knee which gives me the most problems is really painful today. I hope it settles down before the weekend because I have a 2 hour drive north, then 2 hours back .. and remember folks I drive a Manual...

Last night was the last trivia game. That frees up one afternoon and one evening per week.

I had hopes for today, maybe housework or taxes. But now I just feel like going back to bed.

Winter has returned (temporarily), so I can't even enjoy the balcony.

I talk to my long-distance language partner this evening. He is such a lovely guy, as is my local language partner. Where were all these lovely guys when I was young? (Yeah, I know.)

Boo-hoo, poor you. If you think I'm being mean, think again---I don't have a balcony and want one desperately! Go out on your balcony, even though it's cold, for one minute and think of me envying your balcony. When I had one in the past, it ALWAYS made life better. Twice I even had a yard......sigh.

You have a balcony. You live in the sticks, in the middle of nowhere and you have a balcony!
