Good Morning everyone! Having coffee and making memes for fakebook. Today will be another day of getting house cleaning chores off my list. Have to call the oral surgeon today for my consultation appointment. Have had to cancel that appointment several times so it needs to be done. Other than that not sure what my day will be like.

Calais Maine is my guess @Kaila
I remember my Canadian husband and I went there and how he looked across the bridge with such longing, it was sad. I asked him did he want to cross over for the day and he said no, but I won't forget how sad he looked at his homeland.

I think I've got a chest infection of some type or other.. I'm struggling to breathe.. well not struggling exactly that's wrong.. but definitely short of breath. been like it now for about 3 days... not sure quite what to do tbh.. trying to see a doctor is the last thing because it can take up to a month!

..anyway in the meantime, I'm trying to discover why a company that I pay a Direct debit to... has been taking an extra £80 out of my account.. . Called them this morning and the finance dept or whatever they call it, was ''busy with other clients''.. and would return my call , but thus far they haven't. I know it's only been an hour or 2 since I called them.. but when it comes to my finances.. I get very edgy...this is one of the reasons I hate direct debits... 😣

A 3 wheel bike? Surely that makes it a 'trike'.

Another expensive day here. One of the hotplates on my cooker has failed so I've ordered a new one. That's £80 but I can replace it myself.
Then TV license is due for renewal. I think I'll ask for a 'dumbed down' version to go with the rubbish that's shown these days.
Last of all, we've bought a new lawnmower . It's a Honda which are generally very reliable. It has to be assembled and checked before I pick it up on Friday.

At least it's a nice day here, so a bit of gardening this afternoon.

Morning folks....64deg F here this morning, somewhat cloudy out but no rain exp....lots of wind warnings tho...I'm trying to
decide about getting to doc today about my left foot issue...
swelling has gone down a bit, but not back to normal...I know
this can indicate some serious issues, but just having hard
mental struggle about getting to doc's...or e.r. for that matter....ah well....later....:giggle:

yes there's one...that's all.. and it gets very busy . ... but I will call them if this doesn't clear up soon
wll..I'm fed up trying to catch a breath now so I've called the 111 number which our urgent medical helpline.. the operator takes the details, goes through a list of questions about your symptoms then has a clinician call back to decide what to do next... .. they say they will return my call in 30 minutes.. so I'm just waiting for that now...

oh wow, what a lovely place... How far from home ?
About a four hour drive. It's a sleepy town - one of our favorite places to take the RV. We also stopped here for a few nights on the way home. It's quite a large, woodsy, rustic park with somewhere around 100 peacocks strutting the 76 acre grounds.

At only an hour from home, it was the perfect opportunity to see how our baby grandson would do with an RV overnight. DS & DDIL brought him to us on Sunday afternoon, then picked him at our house Monday afternoon when we finished our trip. He did quite well, even started a rock and stick collection.

There are a couple of male peacocks in this tree. They're quite accustomed to humans and dogs and freely wander campgrounds as well as the wooded areas.

What a cutie!
Morro Bay is about a 2 hr drive south from here..my oldest grandson (the surfer) has been there many times.

Last nite, brought the snow shovels back up to the deck, in preparation for the winter storm that is forecasted…..yes…..winter storm for April 19…really…..🙄☹️😞😒😕.
Was to start about 4am……nothing yet……but the wind is very strong.

I shopped yesterday like there was a storm coming……right……stocking up on April 18 like a storm is coming.

Will be all inside stuff today…..maybe watch it sNOw…..not….maybe I’ll just close the blinds on it all.

Going to trim Mickis’ toe hairs….put the coffee maker on clean cycle….sit and wish it was 80 degrees out and sunny.

Just turned the thermostat up…..got cold.
