Good afternoon , Ive been busy in the Garden clearing Vine Weevle grubs out my pots , so annoying they eat the roots before turning into beetles to go off and lay eggs again . I did try the Nemotode that you water onto the soil and they should kill them off , well it didnt work did it !.
So while ive been taking a break I watched the rehearsal Parade for the Kings Coronation , The Troups and Bands marched out , I do feel very Proud to be British ,, Fingers crossed the weather will be kind , and theres no silly demonstrations to ruin it .

it's been a pretty dreary week here tbh. We had one day of sun but it was pretty cold so I didn't go out except in the garden to work a little bit... today is grey, and the forecast is the same for tomorrow .

I've just been looking at a house for sale further down south.. it's almost right on the beach..just one road back so protected from the sea spray and wind... It's nice little place.. I would like to be by the sea, but not sure if this area is the one because like here there's nothing going on, except the actual seafront..

@hollydolly Rescue older dog(s). Take dog(s) for walks on beach. Meet interesting people men who also have dog(s). Accept invitation to lunch. Or dinner. Or concert. Or...

Is it waterfront property?

it's not waterfront it's one row behind.. that's ok... but if there was dinner invitations going anywhere I'd get them here.. but since Covid, people tend not to mingle so much especially in our homes....there are no concerts there.. it's further from London than here...

Okay quit ur naggin...I did my excercises for the day , okay!!?
also had a trapped raccoon hauled away by maint guy, to start a new life at the local hospital (really)...went online to order scripts...friday got some big bug bombs coming to give this old
house (70+) a good de-bugging.....so now what......:p

I would have been happy with just having done exercises; you're kill'n it. :)

I live near the mountains - I can see them from my back windows. I love it but would also find that something near a beach would be perfect, too. If this is your dream @hollydolly then you should go for it.

I know, right? The hoops I had to jump through to teach Spanish to adults (as a volunteer) were worse than for any actual job.

Yesterday was a beautiful day, and I accomplished everything, including some errands. I must have worn myself out, because I slept in until 11 today.

I have to figure out how to ration my energy from day to day.

This morning I did some research and emails for book club. I guess this afternoon I'll commit to exercise. Not much time for anything else.

No language practice this evening. Maybe I can get something done. I keep telling myself I should relax with a YouTube movie or comedy, but I never really feel like it.

I have a home in Spain near the beach... my dream is to be possibly near the beach but more importantly to be near something to do.. somewhere to go, before I get too old to want to be able to go out ..
