if you have 800 photos as a final cut for example... how many on average would the bride and groom typically want from that?

Do they pay up front for all photos, or do they pay for a certain amount after viewing them ?
That 800 will contain duplicates of the same shot or very similar. I'll usually hand over about 400 - and they pay me when I've shown them to them and they're happy with them.

GiGi... @Georgiagranny ..and anyone else who enjoyed M&S when visiting England, I know a few of you have said it.. here's a few pics from today..M&S 2023... just random pics..to show you how the store is now since you last were here...

Since I've been back from North London today and the big grocery shopping as well.. I've managed to get 2 big black bin bags full of new or nearly new clothing.. and other stuff. for a hospice charity that's opening near here .. All their money goes to hospice and they've asked for donations in readiness for their opening day, so I thought I would give them some really nice things in the hope they start off with lots of money in the till, and a reputation for being a really nice charity store... ergo more custom , more money to the hospice..

Once that was done I went and vacc'd out my car .... then put the charity bags on board in readiness for when I got out next time

After that I made tempura Prawns, and Jacket potato for dinner...

I also put all my most recent worn trainers..(sneakers) in the machine to wash.. I don't put them in the dryer..instead I dry them in the hot airing cupboard..

Now it's just gone 9pm.. and I'm sitting down at my computer...I may not move again for a while..:D

Somehow I envisioned M&S as being in a huge multi-level store. Maybe some are. We had 47 at one point in Canada; now they’re gone. Too bad because they had quality clothing.
yes they are multi level.. but usually only 2 levels... ..one near me has a cafe that takes up a whole third of the second floor... and all the housewares are up there too...Many M&S stores have closed here too... as well as a lot of Department stores...

When I got up this morning around 6, temp was a refreshing 62,got dressed went to buy NYT,when I came back watered flowers in our garden
After breakfast, took bus went to get my hair cut at Super Cuts plaza, last time I was there was in May. Then I walked a block to Kohl's bought 3 soft cardigans. I walked back to the small plaza where Super Cuts is located went into Dollar Store{everything now costs $1.25}
I bought 2 2024 wall calenders one of puppies, other of mountains,some pens& paper
This afternoon went outside to sit in garden with 3 other residents temp was in low 70's mix of sun/clouds

@moviequeen1 Ahhhh...62 would be such a treat early in the morning. Alas, we're not likely to be so blessed for at least another month, maybe longer. I'd love to be sitting outside with my coffee wearing a...gasp...robe!

The chicken🐔 pot pie was good except for a lack of salt. Good thing that's something that can be added after cooking.

My busy day is catching up with me. Bedtime might be before 8pm tonight.🥱

I'd never been to one, before going with all of you here, today!
:giggle::sneaky::cool:
That was interesting! :geek:

Thanks for the trip there, Holly.(y):D

Making apricot wine, won't make much our apricot tree is still small. Practice for peach, those will be ripe in a few weeks and there are lots and lots more of them. Made a bunch of peach wine a couple of years ago, finally drank the last of it. Now I have to remember how I did it.

I don't make fine wine. My objective is a wine that most people will finish a small glass, never expect anyone to ask for a second glass, but on rare occasions it has happened... LOL My wine lasts a long time.

Any wine makers here?

Today it is back to the project house. It is about 75 miles from here….but i actually kinda like the drive. Yesterday i started painting ceilings…got three done. Today it is continuing to patch holes and paint. My wayward son will go with me today and work on the terrible job of chipping up old floor tiles. He has spent three dats on the living room. Ohhhh the fun begins….
