Well.. as well as that hard work in the garden today.....and also sowed some grass seed in a few bare patches..at the back

I also hung 2 new pictures.. ... and I wanted to hang 2 Glass wall hangings. but I've lost the proper size of picture hooks, which is very odd because I keep all and every ''fixings'' in a dedicated box in the barn... I know I've got a whole bag of this appropriate size, but I can't find them anywhere,...

.. however as it was beginning to get dark when I was looking for them, I didn't have the patience.. so perhaps they've been put somewhere else..I'll look again tomorrow..

@hawkdon , I think it;s a good idea to go back on the anti-Ds. Remember to give them at least 10 days to 2 weeks to help you. I don't believe in suffering if one can get relief. You're worth it! Cheer up, better days are ahead. 🌹
 
Installed a new sink for my friend, then got a call from a close friend wanting to go fishing tomorrow so I got our regular crew lined up and we go at daylight till about lunch time, already have truck packed and full of fuel, but just going local (35 minute drive each way), It looks like Tuesday will be A numbers trip rather than hunt for big fishes, catching for a church fish fry.
 
Looks like the hurricane will go north of us, but we might get some wind and rain. I'll try to fit my car in the garage but with a large SUV and a Harley in there already, it'll be a tight fit for sure. Trash bins will come in.

We have a new fence since the last blow, so I hope it fares better than the old one.

We're really not expecting much here.

~Rotated stock, found places to put away some items.
~Caught up with stuff on Facebook.
~Had a long conversation with a good friend who called. We hadn't talked in awhile, so had a lot of catching up to do.
~Made imitation crab cakes for the first time. They came out pretty good.

I understand, I have the opposite problem, I go to bed at 3,4, or 5am and sleep away the best part of the day now. I hear it is common when we get older to have problems like this.

Have a great time with your boys!! Have you picked a cat or kitten yet? That will be one happy spoiled baby!
 
So glad to see you @Blessed. Am currently involved in the shelter bureaucracy. Don't like that one bit. Hard to pick a kitten from a website..........it will happen when it does. In the meantime, I still haven't given an expert cleaning to apt. which I wanted to do before a new cat arrives. I honestly don't feel well enough to do too much work at a time. It needs a professional job which I can't afford.

I'm so glad to see you, I repeat. I miss talking with you on board. But, if you're sleeping all day how could you be here?
 
Returned from the four day vintage festival at about one o'clock this morning, it was almost two o'clock before we hit the sack. What a weekend. This morning, what's left of it, will be taken up unloading the motorhome, then it's off to collect the cats from their hotel. Later, the motorhome will get a good wash and clean ready to return it tomorrow.

Our festival weather was a bit hit and miss, we had some rain but mostly overnight. When the sun shone though, it was seriously warm. My phone has been going text crazy this morning from all our friends who were there, or whom we had met up with from previous years. I've had about seven hours sleep but I still feel shattered. Bed will have to wait, things to do first.

Overcast this morning ... high temp expected to be 69 deg..in August !!!! :eek:..still, I'm not complaining, I;d rather it was cooler than Hotter...

No specific plans for today.. just see what the day brings....

Yes @hollydolly our BHF with furniture and one wee one with clothes, are easy access downtown. Delivery is reasonable as well.

Found out camera isn't wireless, so I'll have to take pics another way lol!

We also gave them lots too. Prices are amazing when you're in a tight budget. We've saved by switching providers for electricity and gas. A new beginning...😄

we have lots of Charity shops in the nearby towns here ( but no specific furniture shops)... I often go in and have a look in them, but rarely buy anything now. Prices do seem to be rather arbitrary ... but I do however give a lot in Donations... furniture, clothing, Bric--Brac
 
It's a quiet Tuesday until evening then it'll be our time. Sports day!

However, been crying and laughing as well as reminiscing. How? Watching YouTube got a recommended video bunch of old extreme makeover with Ty Pennington.

It was good, it was bad and in some aftermath it was ugly. Incredible to believe that Sears has been gone for a while now and luckily many were able to hold on to their incredible experience.

Others lost it, I've read online while back. It ended up being sadder than at the beginning.

Still it was amazing to see a whole house, landscaping and all done in 7 days...
