The weather here in L.A. remains warm today. In the 80's (f). But, by this coming Sunday (Sept. 3) the high is reported to be only 68 (f). So, I am off to the beach today to enjoy the sea breezes and crowds.

Lots of tourists and locals are still here enjoying southern California even though public schools are back in session for the kids. Hope you enjoy your day too, wherever you are.:cool:
 

Well..become quite chilly now, I've put a cardigan on.. ..66 deg... lol..in AUGUST... :ROFLMAO: still, as I've said time and time again.. I was praying we wouldn't have the insufferable temps that we've had for the last 3 years so I'm not complaining.

It's racing towards 6.30pm, not been able to hang the wall hanging yet, because Amazon have no delivered.. ETA is 8pm.. when it will be almost dark..

Instead.. a didn't a bit of weeding in the garden and on the patio.... topped the hedge quickly with the trimmer to just take of some straggling branches..

Cleared out my car.. not that it needs much cleaning inside.. but when I pulled the storage box out of the Boot.. I found 2 items I'd bought last week, which had clearly fallen behind out of sight.. good thing they weren't food items..

DD rang on her way home from work, and told me of a rechargeable air pump I can get for my tyres.. I didn't know they existed.. she has one to pump up her mountain bike .

I have a fairly new air pump which like all of them I have to plug into the cigarette lighter, but that's broken , and so I have to travel 20 miles to get a garage that has an Air pump....so I'm going to look online and get one of those...

Heavens, @hollydolly, if you could see the inside of my 🚗 you’d faint! As it’s a rolling supply closet part of the month, some is understandable but really there’s no excuse.

Once the weather moderates I will do an intervention and try to do better about keeping it clean. Inch-by-inch is easier than yard -by-yard

I'm afraid I to am not someone who bears pain with fortitude.. either Star...altho' others disagree.. but like you I have OA in my spine.. and it's no effin' fun

A tear in the lower disc 5 to S6 is pressing on the sciatic nerve

The above was the diagnosis after my last MRI scan ....so I do have pain every day in my back.. most of the time I can get around easily.. but then I forget about the stress it's causing my back.. and if I have a busy day especially in an out of the car on shopping journeys.. I pay for it the next day..., and I have canes strategically dotted around my house in case my back goes into seizure, and I need something to help me stand up

lol..CS...my car is very clean inside tbh... when I said I was cleaning it, it was just to remove an unfinished bottle of water, and a Car parking ticket... from the windscreen... the floor is very clean.. except the driver side which had some grit from the road on it, so that was quickly cleaned up.. ..and there was me thinking it was messy...:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Just trying to keep the 12yr old boy dog, Mason, busy chewing stuff while I look at flowers.

Sux when that happens Holly. I had one showing out for delivery and it never showed up until the next day.
Vehicle traveled near but overnight, showed stationary several miles away. Other than that one time, it's been all good ... so far

yes it's happened a couple of time here too... annoying because I stayed home all day today waiting for it, making plans to go out tomorrow, so it looks like I may have to stay home tomorrow too. Makes me wonder why we pay for Prime..

... and I remember when Prime 2-day meant what it said. Hit and miss these days.
Mainly since the pandemic stuff, better now, but hasn't become as reliable as it once was.
Could be a geographical thing too. Dunno

..and did they say they were going to be there within 2 days ?... mine told me this morning that my package was due to be delivered today...I ordered it last night... then later in the day it said it would be delivered between 5.15 and 7pm.. then it changed to 8.15pm.. now at 9.2pm ..it has no estimated time of arrival...

Yes they did. Then I got emails apologizing because the packages were going to be late.

I hope that you find ways to enjoy and take care of your little grandson, Fri-Sat as planned,
without making your poor back hurt any more! :rolleyes:
