Before I write about what I'm doing today, I'll mention what I did yesterday because for me, it's significant. I fell asleep before being able to post about it. I'm almost caught up with laundry! In the 26 years being retired, I've never been this close.

I asked my son to take down one bag for me on his way out to work (at 2:30 a.m.), but he took both bags, which was nice.
I always use double loaders, so it's like I did 4 loads of clothes. I washed my fall jackets and hoodies and dried them downstairs, which is why I was able to do two double loads at one time. I also washed towels and dried them my apartment dryer. I put away most of the pieces, including ones left over from Monday.
I was able to refill three pill cases while my son and I sat and talked as he sorted beans for his bean soup. I knew it was critical to get that done because even the travel case that I keep in my purse was near empty. I like to make sure it's full in case I have to leave quickly in an emergency.
Today I have to get ready to go to a dinner - fashion show with my son. His GF is the sponsor and the clothing she's marketing will be featured. She's a doctor (PhD) who sees clients in the field on weekdays and marketing clothing is her second business. She loves treating me to things so my ticket is complimentary. I always return the kindness.
I'll do my nails, shave my eyebrows and try on the two outfits I'm considering. Since I've literally shrunk, I don't know if the one below will be too long. It is a two piece, ankle length caftan that my sister gave me years ago. The head wrap that came with it is skimpy so if I can't tie it so I look cute

, I'll have to see if a large gold colored one I have will match and not be too much of a hassle to wrap. When daylight comes, I'll put away the rest of the clothes and clean up a bit.
