Feeling very weak and shaky. BP low, BG low. Am I fading away? Will make reservations with AccessARide for tomorrow, but wonder if I can do it; pickup & watch grandson I mean. If I still feel this way by 3 pm I'll have to make sure grandson covered by other grandparents.

Have Zoom appt. in a few minutes with therapist. Not in mood, but I'll do it anyway. Maybe she can offer advice.

Truthfully, what I am physically feeling is scary.
So sorry to hear you are feeling this way. I hope it's just a weather thing, and it goes away quickly! 💗

Did a whole bunch of those typical household chores in the morning. In the afternoon I took a very non-typical nap. It felt great. Too bad that tonight I’m wide awake. Watched half of The Burial on Prime. 2.25 hours is too much TV for me in the evening.
Just added that to my watchlist. From all accounts by people I know, it's very good. I don't even watch hour shows (really 41 mins with no ad streaming) in one sitting. My ADD kicks in and usually I'm ready to move on to something else after about 22 minutes. So I'll watch the movie in manageable parts.

Re OP: Early morning I did puzzles to keep the cobwebs off my brain. I had an appointment with my cardiologist this morning. Afterward, I walked to a nearby food market that is apparently Ukranian owned. I coudn't read any of the labels. Then I walked down to Boston Market to have lunch. I brought half of it home. After I got home & changed, I had yogurt & crashed. I slept for several hours.

Feeling a bit better today. Let out lots of grief, re: Israel, in Zoom therapy session yesterday. It helped and relieved some of my worser symptoms, although they still are with me to some extent.

It's today now, not yesterday! Kittens just now tipped over entire food bowl! I'm going to see my grandson later on! L'Chaim!

Hi Folks!!!! Not sure what this day holds in store yet......I know
the dang little dish dwarves did not do their duty last nite!!!!!
So got to take care of that....oh I watched a new docu on HBO
last eve, about the Reservation Police training acadamey...it was
quite interesting and eye opening...got another one tonite also...it is 53F here, up to 70f later, slight chance of sprinkles...
Catch you later.....;)

Overcast...rain expected soon, 57 deg.... couldn't be more different to yesterdays' sun.....

Not going anywhere today.. always like to have a rest after a big jaunt out as I did yesterday.... on top of which my back is really hurting.. caused of course by the jumping in and out of the car several times.. and the carrying of heavy shopping back to the car park..

In retail parks the car parks are right next to the stores..In town.. they're generally not... so we have to walk a fair distance back to the car carrying heavy shopping...

Woke up in the middle of the night coughing like a crazy thing.. scared me it was so bad.. and it's carried on this morning a little bit... I knew I should have worn a mask in that packed out hospital waiting room...

Another dark , damp day,, doesn't make me want to do anything.
Even the dog looked grumpy this morning.

I should take a bag of sweat pants to the Goodwill this morning.
Finally got in the old trunk & sorted them out.

Should get back into our closet.
There's a lot of hubby pants, etc that don't fit him anymore.
I wonder if he will notice them missing?

Well the wind has increased substantially, the trees are blowing like crazy,,,the big canopy tree outside my front garden is still as green as can be , but around November time every year it sheds all it's leaves..they don't turn russet they just shed completely..

Finally my Doctors surgery called me back this afternoon.. and she said I'm not entitled to a Shingles Vaccine until September 2024... but they've booked me in for a Pneumonia Jab... I do need that given that I have had Pneumonia twice now..

Had such a fun day with toddler grandson yesterday that we opted against Costco and played with him right here at home. He was in a spectacular mood and seemed to have missed us when we were away. We sure missed him! 💙❤️💙

So Costco today for sure. Well, today or tomorrow. Maybe Friday. But absolutely must get there this week. Ok, if not this week then definitely next.

Guess what DS got on his vacay in the UP? Covid😷 His DH will probably get it, too. Thankfully, they've both had the initial vaccine💉 and the boosters💉💉💉, except for the newest one. Hoping it won't be a bad case:(.

A day without TL at work is a day filled with sunshine! She has a way of running her mouth and ran it to the wrong person yesterday. Told someone she was "sick of Sir taking two-hour lunches." The someone happened to have been in a two-hour meeting at the same time with Sir. Of course it got back to Sir!

The someone is a person who approves schedules. On Monday TL put in for a week's vacay Hallowe'en week. A no-no to begin with because it's very busy then. Vacay denied. Wut wo. I have a serious case of schadenfreude:ROFLMAO: Shame on me.

Well you deserve to feel that way... I have worked with people like TL.. and it's horrendous

I made a pan of cornbread yesterday. This morning I noticed what was left had become dry. I dabbed it's surfaces with water, put it in the oven (180*) on a shelf with a pan of boiling-hot water below. Five minutes and, voila, took out re-hydrated corn bread.

Going into town today to run a few errands. And, as I reported yesterday in another thread, what I'm wearing is Moreno long-sleeve undershirt, synthetic (black fleece) long underpants, plaid cotton shirt, Wrangler jeans, Darn-Tough socks. (Well, this is Canada in the autumn.)

But instead of my usual Blundtstone ankle boots, I'm wearing my snazzy Keen sneaker/low-cut-hiking shoes (they look clean and newish enough to be fine for sidewalks & presenting myself in places of business).

Yabbut...why do we keep getting them in the bakery??? We had one last fall who was an absolute genius. She'd watch Sir or me do something once or hear instructions once, and bingo! She had it under control. She was also extremely dexterous and could whiz through laying out anything for proofing or baking in a heartbeat. After two days, she was faster than I ever dreamed of being.

Sometimes she'd show up for work. Most times, she wouldn't. She called out the whole week between Christmas and New Year's, then called and quit the day before New Year's Eve.

It's way past time for us to get a good one.

Sheet rock guy is back, his name is Ilya; he's from Russia. Doggie is very upset, but stops barking after awhile. My place is a mess; hanging plastic everywhere; dust not as bad as it could be. Still.....

I went out to buy a new ceiling light for the short hallway between L/R and kitchen door.
lIya had to take the old one down thank god, to patch up there. That old thing was from the 80's... brass with glass doo-dads hanging. I locked my dog in my bedroom , picked up a plain $10.00 circle light at Walmart for him to put up.

I also bought 2 chicken sandwiches at Wendy's, one for Ilya and one for me. He actually smiled!

Men are tearing down a 2nd floor deck and staircase in the back. More noise, more barking. Workers are also finishing up some sidewalk replacements across the driveway. Oy!

Spur of the moment. We went shopping to pick up dinner and regular groceries. My Oh My... The wind was ferociously high, but strangely enough it was a warm wind but squall type.

Supposedly, it'll just increase from now on, well according to online weather... Never can trust those 😂😂😂.

CoffeeBean is digging into his tuna and trout Whiskas with relish. The humans are going to have pork steaks breaded with apple sauce, buttered carrots and mashed potatoes. Espresso Caramel ice cream for dessert. Yummy!

52 degrees here in Central Florida this morning. Did make a run to Publix. Other than that, I'm going to be a couch potato all day, doing only what i gotta do for my SO. And of course the furkid.

btw, it is up to 75 here now, sun is shining, skies are blue, but that doesn't change my plans...:)

ETA - I did make myself a Cuba Libre to tide me over until dinner...

Just came from our local grocery store which is in the middle of a major remodel— whole display units moved around, all higgity-piggity; everything’s changed location, 1/2 the old linoleum is tore out, leaving bare concrete floors.

I checked out at one of the recently-installed (like less than a month) self check-outs. The girl had to come help me at the end b/c something with the printer messed up and I wasn’t getting a receipt. As she pressed buttons on the screen I asked, “how’re these working out for y’all?”

She gave a look over her shoulder that would have stopped fast-moving lava. “I hate them” she said; “I want them gone”. So apparently customers are not the only ones that prefer a person-manned checkout
