Yeah, except for that part about how you like living in the tundra. The only time I wish for cold and sNOw is on Christmas Eve. Otherwise, nope!!

As we go walking on our trail, there is a spot that had a hole in the ground. The hole was about 2 inches in diameter, and looked like it was being used by a chipmunk. There is a walnut tree nearby that has been dropping it's nuts. The first time we saw the hole, Dio kicked a walnut into it....the nut was a perfect fit.

The next day, we came by and the walnut was sitting next to the hole!! So, of course, Dio kicked it back in. After the 3rd day, I said to Dio: you're just messing with him, aren't you!!!

This has been going on every day (sometimes twice a day) for over 2 weeks! Gradually, the hole has gotten bigger and we would add an extra nut.

Yesterday, we were up to 5 nuts getting dropped into the hole!!! About an hour after we put the nuts into the hole, we came back, and...all 5 nuts had been pushed out of the hole!!!

I'm worn out from too much socializing. Friday night I went to a play (put on by a club of this retirement community), then yesterday I went to a different club's brunch followed by a movie recording of a Broadway show, and this morning was yet another club's brunch followed by a talk by a local county politician.

Emotionally I'm conflicted by it, because as an introvert I am happiest all alone doing my own thing, but I think it is supposed to be healthy for people to be connected with others, so I try to think of socializing with people like taking a vitamin. It was surprising to me how many people I'm starting to recognize (and that recognize me). If only I was good at names!

Tundra??? I feel severely insulted, GiGi! The Maritimes are a gorgeous place to live in! Forests, Lakes and the Sea! But I do love the changing seasons and look forward to our first Blizzard of the year! Of course, that's easy to say if you look at it from the warmth of your apartment! :ROFLMAO:
 
I thought I would give you all a giggle with my latest effort to do the hair with the you know what thumb...yes the beetch is still there !
I got all these rollers in by myself. Great little brush rollers from Dollar store.

The other thread where all the lovey people are posted at their best would not appreciate the effort I had to put into this best ever picture.
Now you can all stop laughing.
Gotta have some fun
I need a strong vodka after shower and hair shenanigans...coffee just won't do today

I did see those rollers on Amazon and I doubt I could manage to keep clip open as I still have nerve damage from chemo days.
Fingertips are numb.
I also read several reviews and they were mostly bad so I will just stay with my little $ rollers as long as I can handle them.

fantastic...how you do it is astounding to me.. and a huge lesson...
Incidentally on Temu..they have velcro rollers which open like hair tongs.. only the size of rollers.. so you can just use one hand...

Phone conversation with DSD outta the way. As much as I dislike talking on the phone, it was nice to connect with her.

Now all I gotta do is get through a restaurant dinner. I'll survive. Then DSIL has a birthday Dec 10 so I'll have to do it all over again. Why me?

Nope ..rollers out in about one hour. Then the comb out. That will be fun.

Well, wondering if there's going to be some special documentaries or programs to mark the 60th anniversary of President John F Kennedy's assassination on 22 November 1963?

So watched a few videos on YouTube. Then went shopping for groceries and our supply of cat food for our furbaby and some sodas for us. Got bag of frozen peas, so lunchtime soup tomorrow is Pea and Ham.

Currently watching Jasko's scary video on YouTube

rash kept me awake most of nite, it's been raining off n on all
nite too....feel grumpy right now...care lady comes in today...
