What are you listening to in 2023?

It is Saturday night, November 4, 2023. Back in the day when Saturday night rolled around I'd be going to a double feature movie which meant eating popcorn and goodies at intermission shared with a buddy or pal, going to a pool den to shoot some pool, play pin-ball, and enjoy a beer & hot dog, going bowling and a late snack at the bowling alley cafe, or cruising down the boulevard and looking back at the girls or at the other hot cars rolling through. But, none of that exists any longer.

I have no idea what Saturday night means to anyone any more because there is so little to do now on Saturday night. It is not really much different than Tuesday night for activity, and there really are not more people out and about than a week night. So tonight I will be watching rerun movies or serials on nostalgia TV channels and popping my own popcorn in a pan. Whooppee! It's SATURDAY NIGHT! 😲
