I'm pretty sure I haven't heard this song since 1974. But then it is disco. A genre we were all pretty sure wouldn't survive past the 70s.

talking of Gloria Gaynor. When my daughter was a baby, and just learning to walk.. the radio was on all day and she wouldn't react, but the second this song came on, she would pull herself up from the floor holding onto the stereo unit and bop along to it...

In my minds eye I can see her little self dancing..only 10 or 11 months old... she's 47 years old next week
