The memories of watching this bring me back to When I was young, and first saw Elvis. My cousin and I were watching Ed Sullivan's Show and immediately fell in love with Elvis. Fortunately, she got to see him in person. Sadly she is gone now.

Rickey Nelson would have been 83 today . This is one of my all time favorite songs. Even though this song was about him trying to shed his past image, I often think of certain lines from this song when I reflect on my own past.
