Neil Young shows rich kid how to play Cinnamon Girl in the park. Those guitars ain't cheap!Neil is a really good acoustic guitarist and my favorite part of this video is at the very end
when he is approached in a park and the young man ask about playing this song.
Neil takes his guitar and proceeds to tune it to a 'Drop D' tuning in seconds, tells him play within it
and you'll do fine.
For those hopeless romantics as I am - Just listen to the words of Anne Murray singing - "I Just Fall in Love Again" and Neil Diamond singing
"September Morn". Don't know how to put them up on YouTube Can anyone please help? . It really gets me very emotional. ,![]()
Jet: Thanks so much, loved listening to her once again.
Jet: You've made my weekend, thanks so much for putting Neil Diamond on for me. Much appreciated.
Yeah, I don't understand it. It appeared just fine this morning. I can't even get to it on YT now, much less linked here. I don't know what "SESAC" is - probably a copyright thing.@Eupher, I'm sorry your video didn't appear.
That was one of my favorite videos from the Downbeat winners of 1975.
Best line-up and a great song.
Since it didn't load, I'll throw in a favorite of mine, a cover.
This young man understands jazz.
Great example of modal jazz - D dorian in this case. John Coltrane on tenor.Seems Youtube is wiping out some of my favorite jazz artists.
Lots of Miles Davis stuff is gone.
Sure it's a money thing.
I found this Gem is still up so I 'll post it.
