Chuck *****n (stupid and ridiculous censorship, Chuck's name is pronounced NAY-gron) was and is a great singer. Became a very, very serious heroin addict, from which he has recovered. TDN kicked him out because of it, however, before he cleaned up. Cory Wells (RIP) is gone now, but he was almost as good as Chuck. Altogether a great band without the frills. Great charts, great vocals, and a solid backup rhythm section.

Lots of pop tunes here, so I'll mix it up a little bit with something a little less mainstream.

This fanfare, entitled "Abblasen," written by Gottfried Reiche sometime around 1700 or so, is a Baroque fanfare. It's the opening piece for the CBS Sunday Morning broadcast. It's been played by many trumpet virtuosos including the two trumpeters of the Canadian Brass Quintet, Doc Severinsen, and most recently by Wynton Marsalis, who is recorded here on video and audio.
