I didn't know another thread had been made for 2025. I looked for one and didn't see it before just a second ago.

Here's a song that, other than the line about Johnny Walker, I could seriously relate to by the time The Generic Band had been playing almost every night for 20 years...

 
Marshall Gilkes is one of the premier trombonists today. This piece -- an exquisite chorale/hymn with Marshall playing all five parts -- showcases his incredible control, sensitivity, range, and flexibility.

There aren't many richer or more sonorous sounds than a trombone quartet or even quintet.

This is Marshall's opening piece on his album "Waiting to Continue".

Vikki Carr had great pipes! And in an age of string and orchestral accompaniment -- so unusual today. She's 84 years old, having been born in El Paso of Mexican parents.

We don't hear vocalists of her caliber very often today. A shame.
