What are you wearing today? just a fun thread.

In a short time I shall put on my white tux, we call them dinner jackets in the UK. A white shirt, dark green polka dot bow tie, that's a passing nod to my lady's dark green outfit. I shall wear a pair of, black vintage trousers and black and white patent leather shoes. I will also wear black & white diamond patterned socks. All topped off with a black fedora. Looking outside I shall probably put a trench coat on too.

Pictures or it didn't happen, yep. :sneaky: Seriously, though, I'd love to see that dress your lady was working on and I'll bet you'll both look spectacular to welcome 2024. @horseless carriage

I saw that! But I'll try to be good.

Just sweats here. Snow coming, so I throw on a cardigan and a jacket over that, run out and tackle any any bits of yard preparation for winter left, duck back in to get warm, re-armor and go back out some more.

It's 3:00 am UK time, we have just got in. Just enough time to look in and wish everyone a happy new year whilst I am waiting for the bath tub to fill. This sweaty body needs a good rinse off.
Right Kate, pictures. Annoyingly all photos look like they were taken on a foggy day. The DJ had one of those smoke machines for "atmosphere" but rather than atmosphere the place looked like it did back in the days before the cigarette ban. However, I did promise you some photos:

The bottle green of my wife's outfit is pathetic, as is the cameraman with that last photo.
If I can remember tomorrow, when the alcoholic fuzz has cleared, I will get a good shot
of the lady's attire, it's impressive and garnered many a compliment.

The trousers are new, made for me by Santa. Well that's what she told me. The hat is new too, my previous black fedora got rain soaked, the felt never recovered to give it the classic fedora shape. Looking out at the rain and a forecast of sunny spells followed by severe gales and heavy showers, I won't be going anywhere. It's strange, one minute we have cold, but glorious winter sunshine, the next thing the heavens open up.
 
When at home, my paint splattered clothes as I do acrylic landscapes/portrait painting most days. I know there are painting aprons, but I get too hot in my place. If I go out, jeans and a long sleeve sweater, jacket in winter. We don't go out anywhere special.
 
Long scarlet tunic style jumper, with a white Arran style jumper on top.... ..Brown patterned joggers.. patterned socks..

My sox..not my legs...:D

M&S black leggings - really comfy and I like the two thin white stripes on each side - and my favourite Barbour hoodie - it's soft grey and roomy. It's gloomy outside, just started to rain but it's warm enough not to have the heating on. :)
