Not all the shirts my wife has made for me are of floral design. This classic spearpoint collar shirt is an example of her talent.
So called spearpoint because of the downward point at the front of the collar. To get the best effect from it you need collar stays:

Sometimes known as collar stiffeners, they keep the long ends of the collar straight and hold the neck tie in place.

I always use those in my collars. I also have a collection of Borsalino and Dobbs homberg hats. I was raised to dress nice when go I out in public. 67 and still do.

Although today the sky was full of cloud and rain, it was quite warm for December. We went Christmas shopping and I wore my baggy jeans with a white cotton jumper, lace-up grey boots, fingerless blue/grey gloves and matching beanie hat with a grey woolly coat. :)

Black and navy/green flannel shirt with pockets on the chest.
Black sweat pants.
Sheepskin slippers.
Am chilly as house is only 72; is 81 outside today. Sunny.
House well insulated, stays chilly unless I blow air with a fan from warm outside, to inside.

Baby blue jumper with a white star on the front... White jogging bottoms ( track suit bottoms)... fuchsia Trainers... no jewellery today because I haven't been out , but I do have 3 good buttons on the cuffs of my jumper ..hair is up with a fuchsia Band
afraid to ask ... o well ... what the heck are Trainers ?

I think you call them Sneakers

In a throng of Christmas shoppers I did stand out somewhat, but people were so complimentary. I wore a maroon blazer and tie, contrasted with a sandy/beige coloured fedora hat, shirt and trousers. the shoes were two tone, maroon and beige.

Today we are busy preparing for Christmas. I am wearing a pair of vintage style bottle green trousers, they are so vintage that they even have button fastening flies. My black with green fern leaf patterned Aloha shirt that I have on, will be replaced with a collar and tie this evening, when we go along to the midnight carol service at our church. I shall wear my green striped blazer with hat and shoes.

What is a "COMFY"?
@ CooCooforCoCoPuffs

This is a COMFY, I have three, but this is my Leopard one. They are huge and comfy and warm!
I wear them around home, and a good friend of mine sent me all three of them, anticipating the
cold temps arriving ☺️

I pretty much wear the same thing 365 days per year. Shorts, tee shirt or golf/polo style shirt. Then sneakers or Skechers slip on shoes with no show type white socks. It is rare that I need to wear long pants or jeans in Florida. Maybe 2 or 3 times a year when it gets below 45 degrees and I am going to be outside for a while.

95% of the year: shorts, tank camisole or a linen "home" sundress around; birks; tennis shoes if am taking a long walk in early am; half hikers if am planning on doing the hills, desert, mountain.

If I go to grocery or casual shopping I wear a linen shirt over the tank camisole.

If I have appt with Doc or VA appt I wear an appropriate mid calf linen dress, with flats or 3/4 khakis with a polo shirt, linen shirt.

June 15 - Sept 30, I wear as little as possible as temps get up and above 100 and stay above 100 in daytime 80% of the time.

Hot but dry. If we sweat, the evaporation rate is incredibly refreshing even at 105 degrees in this desert climate.

Double breasted royal blue blazer, with black stripes, grey/blue, wide trousers, with a turned up cuff. White, spearpoint collared shirt, patterned blue/black neck tie. Silver grey fedora hat and blue and white spectator shoes.

Green denim trousers, cream jumper, cream woolly jacket, Fair Isle hat and gloves, brown suede Hush Puppies ankle boots.

Animal print brown and white very soft pj bottoms, the white long sleeves pj shirt that came with them, orchid socks, black big button up sweater.
