I didn't have to go anywhere today, so I was outfitted in the latest cold weather fashion: thermal underwear, a turtleneck, a hoodie, sweatpants, two pairs of socks, and slippers. I've been setting my heat lower than usual because of the skyrocketing oil prices. I usually set it at 60° but lowered it to 58°. I know, but you don't have to pay my oil bill!

I don't think we ever reached fifty degrees today, here in Northeast Texas, and I am wearing a black pair of sweat pants and corresponding black and white top with a bit of embellishment on the under layer, neckline. (Had a bad night's sleep and I feel as if I maybe caught a virus, yet no fever or other symptoms so am wondering if we can feel this poorly with allergies.)

Well, today I showcased my bargain black gym leggings and red sweater under my padded winter coat with my favourite black suede ankle boots. Chilly weather but lovely blue sky and some winter sunshine.
