Pears are so underrated, and they're so deliciously sweet.Peach and pear.
DH is diabetic too, his favorite fruit is also apples but they upset his stomach so badly that he can't eat them unless they are cooked. However, you understand that you can eat some sweets or fruits as long as you balance it with protein.I love apples. Don't know why, but all my friends know I love 'em?? One of the things that irks me about being a diabetic is I can't chomp down on my favorite fruit.

What makes apples delicious is the high sugar content. Sugar and diabetics don't mix well.I thought apples were ok to eat if you are a diabetic? My mother being a diabetic, ate apples all the time. Green pippins and golden delicious.
