Cut the cable over 21 years ago. So these days I am spending my hard-earned cash on DVDs from Amazon. I am watching the 1st half of the 4th year of Rawhide. Also, yesterday I started the 15th year of Gunsmoke. Not sure if these qualify as sitcoms but I don't care because I sure lov' em! Sometimes I watch the "biggest crime fighter of them all," Cannon." I know most people are great fans of Netflix but it does nothing for me. About once/month I look at Netflix, choose one movie, look at it for a few minutes and just reach for my good old DVDs. Why? Maybe it's the bad music in the movies, maybe it's the bad acting, maybe it's the swearing for no reason, maybe it's the violence or maybe it's all of these factors. So it's back to Marshall Dillon, Doc, Kitty, Festus and back to Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates and Eric Fleming as Gil Favor. They never disappoint and my blood pressure doesn't rise as when I try to watch Netflix. Sometimes I think that Netflix could give me a heart attack so I stay away.
