After coffee and breakfast, I'm heading out to the landfill to see if the Swap Shop has some paint. I need to paint my fence.
After I paint the fence, I'll help Old Mack paint the other side of the house.
I might make my bed.
Pick up the stuffing from the pillows the puppy chewed this morning.
Maybe sweep and vacuum.
Get the newspaper and clip out interesting articles for daughter.
Check the local thrift store for anything interesting.
Take the puppy to the beach.
Get some mulch for the garden.
Somewhere in there eat lunch and take a nap.
Retirement isn't for sissies.
The pot roast Old Mack slow cooked is scrumptious.
 

I'll be at my church business office volunteering as I usually do Fri mornings,Thurs is my other day there.
This afternoon,I have a dentist appt ck up after he pulled my wisdom tooth 2 weeks ago.
I hope to get my afternoon nap in either before or after visiting the dentist
 
The maple tree seeds finally quit falling from the neighbors tree and with the rain moving in (hopefully) I've got to get the ladder out and clean the gutters today so they won't clog up the downspouts.

I painted all the new gravel boards with Wood protector yesterday morning then gave them their second coat today, a lot of wood, a lot of work .... hot and humid out there so it was exhausting

Measured out the area for the new shed as well..

Mowed the lawns back and front


refilled all the Bird feeders..

Apart from a couple of chores..I have no plans to do anything else ..I'm too sore, and hot!!:p
 
Oooh, we have picked up the RV from storage and we're packing for a trip. :woohoo: So I'm gathering clothes and food and checking weather forecasts.

Answer to the second question: Well, let's do a little exercise in visualization, shall we? On one side you have a tall, rangy Texas cowboy and on the other side you have Sister Mary Attila. My chances of getting anything done today sit right between them. Yes, you have it, my chances are between Slim and Nun.

End of my day, pretty much. Got much done. Cleaned up my kitchen, mopped the floor. Went to Walgreens to pick up some prescriptions and cough drops. Then came home to make a cold pasta salad (see my post in my Shotgun Red thread). About to cook dinner. A nice piece of fresh whitefish for DH. Not my favorite fish, so I will just have some of the pasta salad.
 
Going to the senior center for my glass class .... then BBQing hamburgers ....then watching the boob tube . I think along with that ,I'll have a few drinks !
Maybe Quite a few ~~~~ LOL
 
Did my yoga
Went for a walk
Did some shopping/ bought birthday gift for my man
Made lunch
Need to bake a cake for tomorrow
Have a PILE of housework to do but might end up napping instead.:)

I got the gutters cleaned out today now all we need is the rain........we're dry as a bone and really need the moisture.

This is me in the backyard earlier doing my rain dance. :)

Did my very strenuous exercise this morning..........Up...one, two, three.....down....one, two, three.........up....one, two, three......down....one, two, three.......then the other eye................OK, so you're not laughing.....well let me tell you this....it hurts my one finger to type this rubbish........ha ha ha
 
Gonna try to convince Old Mack that it would be much better to go to Florida Antiquarian Book Fair than to paint the house. It's indoors. Did I hear rain is in the forecast?
 
No luck, he beat me to it. Sent me out to buy paint brushes. Don't we love to shop? Wait till he asks where did the money go. Gee, I don't know Mack, maybe it's on the house?
